What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
My favourite touch was from a Christmas wedding of a couple who worked in horse racing the bride had researched names of racehorse that linked to each guest and had hand painted them a jockey silk to hang on their Christmas tree as favours
Where’s the best photo spot at The Jockey Club Rooms?
There are so many picture perfect locations in the Rooms from the Rose arch way in garden which provides the perfect framing to the sweeping stair case ideal for couple shots.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at The Jockey Club Rooms?
As a private members club for for over 270 the Rooms has welcomed many well known figures to dine and stay however discretion is of the up most importance to us
What’s your favourite canapé?
It's a hard one but mine is our Sesame Prawn Toast, Sweet Chilli and Daikon, it's always a hit
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
My favourite is a Cheese Platter gives you that bit of savoury along side any wedding cake.
What is The Jockey Club Rooms most unique feature?
Stepping into The Rooms is like stepping into another world rarely seen; as the caretaker for the Jockey Club's art and racing memorabilia, even for non racing fans its a venue which will wow them and with the limited number of weddings held each year it is a more exclusive location.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our team, to us it's not just our venue which make us special our team are key part to bringing a wedding to life with their drive for perfection and always with a smile.
