Nestled in the Kent countryside, The House Meadow offers a truly magical setting for summer ceremonies.
We offer exclusive Wednesday and Saturday hire from May through to September. Choose your own suppliers, style the space your way, and enjoy a venue that’s full of character, charm and endless countryside views.
Our beautifully natural, landscaped grounds provide a stunning backdrop for your ceremony - with wildflower meadows, a lake, and plenty of picturesque corners for photographs.

All of our interactions with Clare have been super chilled and easy going - while you’re away there every tiny detail you mention, she’s got a note of. On the day, it was a beautiful experience in of Kent’s most idyllic spots. Clare ran our wedding ceremony this weekend and it was quite simply magical. Her team were all smiles, super efficient, kind, caring and great fun. The venue is stunning and we loved the fact that it’s a blank canvas that we can decorate and style the place in our own creative way, it makes it so much more personal and a true representation of who we are as a couple. Clare is such a wonderful person and genuinely became part of our wedding party. She was so supportive and encouraging to our whims and aesthetic. Our family and friends have not stopped complimenting us on our big day. And as the bride I can truly say I got to enjoy the day, I felt present and didn’t have to worry or stress about anything. I couldn’t be happier and wish I could relive the day over and over. We could not have had a more perfect wedding! Clare was welcoming, kind, incredibly personable and so supportive through the whole process. We had exclusive hire, and the added benefit of being able to set up the day before. Our suppliers were nearly all exclusively recommended by Clare and they were all amazing. We got married at the gazebo on the lake and then had our wedding reception and party in the barn, and the atmosphere was amazing. Everyone commented on how beautiful the setting was, and what was so lovely, is how many of our guests said to us it was one of the best days of their lives, as well as ours. That was a testament to the House Meadow and Clare, Nicci from Home Gurrown and all their brilliant teams. We had our wedding at The House Meadow, and it will be forever the best day of our lives. She was on board with all of our ideas and helped to make everything a reality. We had the most beautiful day celebrating and didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day as we knew she would take care of everything. The venue itself is stunning, unique and so well looked after. The staff on the day were all so kind and helpful. I couldn't imagine having done it anywhere else.It is honestly amazing value, because with Clare it felt like we had a wedding planner included (who was also just a great friend) guiding us through the planning & checking off of everything - as well as being supportive and so flexible with a 14 month delay and 4 postponement dates due to covid (!!). She could not have been more helpful and patient and lovely. Her staff are great, and they will look after you for the best day ever 💘 I couldn't imagine having done it anywhere else. One of the best venues I have been to and subsequently one of the best weddings I have been to. On arrival, walking past the horses & stables, then welcomed by thier picturesque lake and finally greeted by friends inside a very handsome barn. The toilets were even amazing, with a window that would surprise anybody.What a special place for a wedding.
