Situated on the North Norfolk coast, Burnham Market is a picturesque village with The Hoste Arms at its heart. We offer a unique venue for events, weddings, corporate away days and conferences, with a dedicated team to plan and guide every step of the way.
Our wonderful team of specialists are on hand to curate and deliver the most memorable of days for you, your partner, family, and friends. With exclusive events spaces, gorgeous onsite accommodation, an impressive 20-seat cinema, and spa treatment rooms, we have everything you need to give your wedding party a day or even a weekend they will always remember.
The gem of our portfolio is our glorious Garden Room which is exclusively yours on your wedding day. The room is complete with bi-folding doors that open out to a beautiful sun-kissed walled courtyard, leaving a light and airy space for you and your guests to enjoy.

- BBekah C30/11/2023Treasure of a VenueTreasure of a VenueWe chose Hoste as we had stayed for a weekend away and the food was delicious. We didn't realise until we were venue hunting that they did weddings and what a treasure of a venue it is. Jade, the events manager, was super helpful and organised in the lead up to the wedding and perfect on the day too - she clearly knows her stuff! Your room for the day is separate from the main restaurants etc, and is a beautiful space - we got married on a rainy November day and it still felt bright (plus the in built fairy lights made it feel very cosy after dark). Food and drink was plentiful and all delicious - a menu tasting is included in your price. The pricing also felt reasonable (especially out of season). Overall, everything was exactly how we imagined our special day to be, everyone was so friendly and our guests had the best time too. From our very first contact with the Events Planner, Jade, we felt well looked after and well-prepared for our big day. As soon as we arrived at the venue to set up the day before the wedding, we were met with extremely helpful, courteous and considerate staff who made us feel welcome. As anyone has ever planned a wedding would understand, there are a 101 thing which could go wrong on the day. However Jade and her team went above and beyond to ensure that our day went smoothly and that we and our guests had the best possible time. We can honestly say that our wedding was everything we could have hoped for. We have had so many wonderful comments from our guests telling us it was one of the best weddings they had been to. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day a spectacular and enjoyable experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives. From our first visit and leading up to the day, Jade and Lisa were great; listening to our plans, answering questions and making suggestions to help with planning our day. We fell in love with the light airy Garden Room on our first visit and though it was winter we could see how lovely the Walled Garden would be.We had our ceremony and reception in the Garden Room and the Walled Garden at The Hoste and we would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue. We recently had our wedding ceremony here as well as our wedding reception and I can honestly say it was the best day of our lives! Jade has helped us organise our dream wedding… nothing was too much trouble and she always understood our vision. She was so responsive on emails and always there when we needed her. Our day ran so smoothly and just perfect! All of our guests have commented on how great the service and food was. Wow! Where do I start with this amazing venue?! We recently had our wedding ceremony here as well as our wedding reception and I can honestly say it was the best day of our lives! Scott, Lisa and corisa made sure all the ideas we had came together on the day!! Walking in and seeking the room for the first time was breathtaking they had laid it out just as we had asked! The garden room was the perfect size for our sit down of 70 with more in the evening. The food was wonderful and all served hot! Scott and all his team made sure we had to worry about nothing! Being winter with all the lights made the setting extra special! We stayed with quite a lot of the family in the hotel and cottages and all had lovely rooms and very good breakfasts in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone! So many people have commented on the wedding and the venue and how wonderful it was. I had the great pleasure of travelling from London and attending my dear friends Kieren and Claire's wedding at this glorious venue and I was more than impressed. The food was fantastic, the bubbly was flowing and the organisation was flawless. The Hoste is stunning, a candle lit garden, gorgeous decor and even a bit of history with its Nelson museum open for all the guests to enjoy. The staff were quick and efficient paying attention to every little detail and the manager in charge, Andy, worked tirelessly from start to finish to make the wedding a very, very special experience for all. I must say though the food is outstanding, so beautifully displayed and so much of it! The endless amounts of tea and coffee were an added bonus and… Oh what a night, oh what a wedding! We had many guests staying for two nights which made our week end wedding celebrations extra special. The guests including the bridal party made full use of the Spa, which my daughter and I frequent on a regular basis as their treatments and staff, lead by Claire, are excellent, with use of their hot tub with fizz, should you wish to indulge ! Our wedding week end was simply wonderful, a magical time made extraordinarily memorable due to the professional, friendly and excellent members of staff who created a bespoke luxury wedding day, with the finest cuisine and wine. Our guests are complimenting us on our choice of venue, the rooms both at The Hoste and Vine House are exquisite. I know many of our guests intend to return in 2016. To conclude, a fabulous Hotel with friendly, professional staff, and an amazing chef, need I say more.....Daughter's Wedding Venue Having been visiting the Hoste for many years we decided to hold our daughter's wedding here. Well done all of you for making this special occasion, even more special. What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I think table plans are an under personalised element of a wedding, a recent couple named their tables after countries they had visited, using a world map as the table plan, it felt like you were learning something new about the couple!

light, airy, blank canvas, relaxed and memorable
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
I just love the courtyard! It is very South of France and a bit of a suntrap so you can get some really beautiful photos in there.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
It has to be a bacon sandwich, always with brown sauce!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The amount of exclusive space you get, although we are a hotel the residents would never know a wedding was happening and your guests have lots of space just for them!
