Asked 2 different receptionist about the history and both were very knowledgeable. We had a deluxe double room which was of a very high standard and quiet - we couldn't even hear the wedding disco when we retired to bed!! The food was very good and staff polite and very helpful. Everyone complimented on how beautiful the hotel and grounds were. The food was gorgeous especially the quiches which Everyone also very much enjoyed. Charlie, Jupe and the rest of the staff were excellent especially with my daughter's who's touretts seemed to overwhelm her in the day. All the hard work and planning for the past 2 years and the training with Rayne all paid off and that's down to all the help and support of yourself and your team. Thank you so much. Emma the coordinator was brilliant and all of the other staff were so kind and lovely. Would highly recommend this as nothing is to difficult for them. The actual wedding day went by without a single issue (that we knew of!). Emma and her team were phenomenal and took care of everything. We could not have asked for anything more. Our guests all raved about how good the food was too! The restaurant is reasonably priced and food good. We have stayed there a couple of times and all staff are polite, friendly and professional. What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
At one wedding I attended, the couple had a personalized cocktail hour where they served drinks named after significant moments in their relationship. For instance, there was a cocktail named after the place they first met and another named after their favorite vacation spot. Each drink had a story behind it, which they shared with their guests on little cards placed at the bar. It was a delightful and creative way for them to incorporate their personal history into the celebration, making the cocktail hour not just a refreshment break but a journey through their relationship milestones.
