We have years of experience and will work with you to create your perfect day in the most idyllic of settings. Our new events barn is a fantastic space for larger events, whether you want to host a banquet for one hundred and sixty people, or hold a concert for a band, we can make it happen! But it’s not all about our indoor spaces, we have a beautiful outdoor setting with a large covered seating area, outdoor bar, fire pit, and garden campsite. If you enjoy staying close to nature without giving up luxury living, this is the perfect space for you! We know just how special your wedding is to you, which is why you can have exclusivity of the glamp site from Thursday to Sunday, making your wedding a weekend to remember. Most couples choose the Thursday to arrive so they can start decorating. On the Friday, guests can arrive shortly after, get settled in and look forward to an evening of good food and drinks! Saturday is the important one, the celebrating one and the partying one. Whilst Sunday is spent enjoying breakfast together and bidding happy ever afters- you could even stay and walk around the Arboretum, followed by our famous Holford Sunday roast! Your wedding will be planned as a bespoke event, with our wedding manager on hand to help deliver a celebration as unique as you are. The Best

I have never left a review in my life but couldn't not do a big shout out to Tor and Pete who gave us the happiest wedding weekend imaginable. From the moment our family and friends arrived on the Friday to when we all left in a happy daze on Sunday it was just the best. Having everyone on site together for 3 days was really special, from our (fairly unique!!) ceremony, to the dinner, the vibe, the staff and the dancing, we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to you all xxx

I just wanted to say a massive thank you. You really did strive to make our wedding day such a memorable occasion. We have had endless comments about how good the food was and the service was impeccable, being attentive but not too much!!! Which is so important. The day flowed brilliantly. Describe the best wedding that happened at The Holford Arms ?

We had a lovely couple who decided to make the wedding a full on festival, picture big personalised signs, fire pits and treats, matching denim Mrs & Mrs jackets and the WHOLE wedding party stayed with us in both our fixed accommodation and on our camping grounds!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Remind yourself that every problem can be fixed! Your 3rd cousin has decided she needs a plus one in the evening - fine the more the merrier! You have a last minute dietary request - ask the chef what they can whip up! Your table runners haven't arrived? The tables are wooden, lets go rustic and see if the venue has some spare hessian! All of these have happened to us, so I suppose the real advice is to make sure you choose a venue with a great team who you can build a rapport with to take away any stress you could possibly have! And luckily for you we have a dedicated wedding manager Rose and an events team to hand!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

A couple who connected over fireball shots at a party wanted to think of the perfect way to include this into their day. We organised it so the couple (with a little behind the scenes help) could serve their own fireball shots to guests behind our bar while of course we played, you guessed it, fireball. It was a toast of all toasts!

Our homemade marshmallows around the firepit (these can be vegan!), oh or our truffle popcorn.

What is The Holford Arms most unique feature?

The fact we are truly a blank canvas - as a rustic venue you can really put your stamp on it however you like. You can decorate as much or as little as you want in all areas of the site. Want a nerf gun fight on the lawn? We're ready. Silent disco? Pass us some headphones. Face painting? Can we get some biodegradable glitter over here?! No request is too silly or to big, we will try our best to do whatever we can to make your day truly YOU.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

The team! Honestly we have a great team from those behind the scenes to the front of house. Everyone truly loves wedding season and seeing what they can do to help!
