Less than one hour from London and the South East, our romantic forest setting is ideal for free spirited lovers wanting an intimate wedding celebration immersed in nature.
We offer rustic, micro wedding celebrations for up to 30 people with shepherd hut glamping included for up to 22 guests.
HIGHLIGHTS:
❀ Exclusive hire, six acre eco woodland with a blooming spectacular floor of bluebells in April/May.
❀ Say ‘I do’ beneath the trees with a chorus of bird song over head. A rustic woodland arbour, tree slice benches, hanging lanterns and white lace bunting set the scene.
❀ The Bales, our rustic eco lodge, with large windows and French doors looking out to the forest can be easily transformed for an indoor ceremony or dining area.
❀ The wedding package includes decor touches, white lace bunting, fairy lights, hanging lanterns, candle lamps, vintage crockery, wood slice placemats, rustic benches and tables to avoid one off event wastage.
❀ Use of all glamping facilities, shepherds hut accommodation, The Bales eco lodge, fire pit, BBQ, wood fired pizza oven, hot showers, toilets, zip wire.
❀ BYO no corkage charge, local suppliers list provided but not mandatory.
❀ Available for midweek day only or overnight weddings.
Please note, we are not a licensed venue so the legal part can be done elsewhere before or after your woodland ceremony.

Suki was incredible and worked her socks off to ensure everything went perfectly. The Green Escape had everything we needed and the huts were very comfortable and warm. I can’t recommend the Green Escape enough if you’re planning a small intimate woodland wedding. The Green Escape will always hold a very special place in our hearts and we hope to do a first anniversary celebration there next year! We stayed for 2 nights, with Suki and her team always there to help with the coordination of suppliers, alongside anything that the guests needed. The huts were super comfortable, individually set in the most beautiful backdrop of greenery. I cannot recommend this venue enough, for both the glamping and the small wedding experience - it's such a special place. I recently returned from a woodland wedding here and it was the most fantastic experience. We stayed for 2 nights, with Suki and her team always there to help with the coordination of suppliers, alongside anything that the guests needed. The huts were super comfortable, individually set in the most beautiful backdrop of greenery. We decided to have an outdoor wedding and after searching found Green Escape. Well, how lucky we were. The day was amazing. The venue is beautiful. Words really don’t do it justice. Nothing on the day was too much and everything was just so perfect. Suki listened to all that we would like to happen and we was not disappointed. They made the whole day magical. Our children and grandchildren loved the day, playing, singing and just free to enjoy. The zip wWonderful. Truly wonderful in every way.
