If you are looking for a unique venue to provide a stunning backdrop to your wedding day, then look no further than The Granary at Fawsley. Set in a private, tucked away location amongst the picturesque countryside in Northamptonshire, The Granary operates on an exclusive use basis and with 10 bedrooms, wedding couples and their guests can relax and feel at home. If you’re feeling daunted or stuck for wedding ideas, our expert team of wedding co-ordinators will be on hand to help you plan and create the perfect wedding day. From the menu through to music choices, we’ll be there to guide you. The Fawsley Suite is an elegantly rustic space with Grade 2 listed windows and beautiful views, ideal for smaller or more intimate celebrations. It is licensed to host civil ceremonies for up to 80 guests and can also be transformed for a smaller intimate wedding occasion of 15 guests. If you are looking for a larger venue, then our sumptuously decorated marquee-lined barn will be the perfect fit for you. With space to seat up to 160 guests, you can let your imagination run wild with the décor in the barn as the white fabric of the lining can be customised with your choice of décor. The barn is also licensed for Civil Weddings of up to 200 ceremony guests. We are also licensed for outdoor weddings in our lawned area. After the celebrations, you and your wedding party can relax and unwind in one of our contemporary and stylish ensuite rooms, each with a unique and individual character.

My husband and I got married here early October and it was just perfect. From the very first wedding fayre, Kaci - venue coordinator, was incredibly welcoming, informative and took us seriously (something we've found to be a hurdle with other venues, I can only assume because we were quite young when we first enquired two plus years ago). Throughout the entire two years, Kaci was nothing short of fantastic. She answered my many emails efficiently and thoroughly, providing constant reassurance. No task was too much hassle for her. On the actual wedding day she was super attentive and did everything to ensure my we had the perfect day. The grounds and all the rooms were immaculate. Everything was stocked, fresh and clean. It was super peaceful. My husband and I even decided to stay an extra evening to soak everything in. A cooked breakfast was provided on all 3 mornings we were there for and it was very lovely. The staff came in specifically for us, which we were super grateful for. Everything about our experience at the Granary was just exquisite, but that special mention does have to go to the service provided by Kaci (and the team) for enabling my to have a flawless bridal experience over the last few years. An absolutely perfect day!An absolutely perfect day!
We are so happy that we found and chose to book with The Granary - the team are absolutely wonderful and the venue is gorgeous both inside and out. We really wanted everything in one place so once everyone was on site we could all relax and not worry about further travelling, and the Granary was perfect with multiple options for ceremony location and accommodation right there on site. Our wedding party also stayed the night before which made for a very chilled start to our day - and a gorgeous breakfast included on both mornings. Our coordinators Charlotte and Amelia were absolutely amazing and always on hand to help with our off the wall requests and questions - they both really got on board with our ideas and made sure we got the best out of the space, helping organise getting everything ready and making sure it all worked. We had a relatively small guest list but everyone was incredibly well taken care of and we all just had the most perfect day. The venue DJ worked so well with our live band and did an epic job including our eclectic music taste, and the food provided by Kearneys Catering was absolutely delicious. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Granary to anyone looking for a venue for their special day - from first contacting them to arrange a viewing through to our day and beyond, Charlotte and Amelia were absolutely amazing and the venue is just so beautiful we couldn’t imagine anything better.We are so happy that we found and chose to book with The Granary - the team are absolutely wonderful and the venue is gorgeous both inside and out. What a perfect day! Huge thanks to Kaci who looked after my son and new daughter in law’s wedding plans from start to finish! Lovely weather, so the ceremony was outside! Gorgeous set up! Even enabled and helped with their dogs who were the ring bearers! The food for the wedding breakfast, provided by Kearney’s as part of the package, was excellent and presented to a very high standard! The barn is just beautiful and is a gorgeous venue in a lovely setting! Staff were efficient, helpful and frieWhat a perfect day! Every member of staff was amazing, especially Charlotte, honestly can’t thank her enough for keeping me calm, setting up the day before and making sure everything ran smoothly before, during and the day after our wedding. Kearney’s catering provided all the food throughout the day and evening, it was all well presented and really impressive.We had our wedding at the end of August 2025 and can not fault anything ! ‘Our big day’ was everything and more, we could have wished for. Me and my now husband got married at The Granary in early September and we could not have asked for anything more. The location was stunning and this was one of the first things that drew us to The Granary, it was truly stunning being nestled in rolling fields and the separate areas (the grain store, the barn and the garden) were all well kept and decorated beautifully before we even added any of our own decor. All the rooms on site were given to our immediately family and they were again, all super clean and well kept, and The Granary even managed to turn one of the rooms around so we could have one guest stay the night before and someone else the night of the wedding. Every single member of staff went above and beyond for every guest, quite literally providing service with a smile, and making everything flow super easily. A big big thank you goes to Charlotte (our co-ordinator) who was there for us every step of the way, from the organised meetings to one off questions fired through email. She was also incredibly knowledgeable and gave us good insight when it came to timings of the day etc. While everything wedding is very expensive, The Granary created a custom package for us and our day, and did include things such as the DJ, Catering, all linens and cutlery, exclusive hire day of the wedding, cake cutting etc. I could go on and on about The Granary and how great our day was, it was truly magical and a big part of that was down to this venue and their staff. We struggle to pick just one to be honest. Every couple bring their own special touches to our venue. Our beautifully draped barn provides the perfect blank canvas, and we've had everything from elegant rustic themes to colourful festive themes and even more specific themes like classic cars, motorbikes and a viking theme where all the guests dressed up.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Our number one tip is make sure you hire a good photographer. They will document your day perfectly and give you long lasting memories of your special day.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

There are so many to pick from, if I had to pick one, couples initials lit up whilst fireworks are set off. We love fireworks!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

We have a well house built in 1608 adjacent to our barn that is simply stunning. A common backdrop for photos is sunset, a sight not to be missed.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We have had Sir Chris Hoy, various Northampton Saints Rugby Player and the Williams F1 drivers have all been guests of the Granary.

What’s your favourite canapé?

Crispy turmeric cauliflower with a spiced tomato gel - heaven!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Cheese toasties - a firm favourite among our guests.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

Apart from our remote valley location, its probably that our wedding barn is big enough to have everything in one place, including the bar!

What part of your business are you most proud of?

We are independent and family-run with a small team of highly experienced and loyal staff. We do a set amount of weddings per year to ensure each and every couple gets the attention they deserve.
