The Netherside Suite is an idyllic setting, featuring a large log-burning fire, natural oak beams, and rustic charm inspired by our rural surroundings. Large windows fill the space with natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We hope you'll feel at home and relaxed in this beautiful setting.
The Gamekeeper’s Inn offers a variety of accommodations, including beautifully appointed bedrooms, family rooms, suites, lodges, and woodland pods, all bursting with character. Our bar area provides a cosy, informal space for drinks and dining, complete with comfy chairs, a glowing log fire, and inviting nooks for pre-wedding gatherings. The conservatory dining room offers a relaxed and informal atmosphere, serving delicious local produce.
Located within Long Ashes Park, our venue also features a leisure centre and the Long Ashes Pure Spa, perfect for pre- and post-wedding relaxation and rejuvenation.

I never imagined I would ever get married but I secretly hoped that if I did it would be here! It certainly did not disappoint! Angela was the perfect wedding coordinator from beginning to end. We have received so many compliments from our guest, from the venue to the gorgeous food, brilliant staff and entertainment and have lost count of the number of people saying it’s the best wedding they have ever been to! Angela, Chris, Stuart, Verity, Sarah and all the team at Gamekeepers are truly wonderful people. The way they treated us and our guests made our perfect day even more special. Nothing was too much trouble! The food was incredible. We had so many comments from our guests about how it was the best food they’d had at a wedding. The portions are huge (true Yorkshire). For our canapés we had mini toad in the hole with caramelised onion, fish goujons with tartare sauce, and halloumi and red pepper skewers. We also had prosecco and Peroni as our welcome drinks. Our room was beautifully decorated, wherever you turned there were white, large flower bombs, floating candles, twinkling lights and eucalyptus. The quality (and quantity) of the food is excellent, so good that most of the guests came back for the carvery the day after the wedding!
