A uniquely beautiful 18th century Cotswolds inn, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, The Feathered Nest casts its spell as soon as you arrive. Ready to greet you will be a relaxed ambience and a whole lot of rustic charm; pull up a saddle seat at our bar and let our warm, experienced team be on hand at every stage to take care of all the details, right up until (and including) your special day.
The Feathered Nest is licensed for indoor civil ceremonies, with seating for 60 guests in our main restaurant or on our covered outside terrace, weather permitting. For the evening, we can accommodate up to 120 guests, and have four beautiful boutique rooms and a luxury cottage for you to retire to, with our award winning (yes really!) breakfast the morning after.
Food is something we take very seriously, and are proud to bring 3 aa rosette standard catering to your wedding breakfast. Our talented kitchen team would love to work with you to create a bespoke menu that's as unique as your special day. We also offer an extensive hand-picked selection of world leading wines, if that's something you're into..

This is not just a normal pub roast - we all agreed it's the finest Sunday roast we have ever had. Everything is cooked to order, produce is of high quality and locally sourced where possible - all prepared and served beautifully. Great wine list. All the staff are friendly and super-efficient. Rooms are perfect, spacious and very well equipped, very comfortable beds, massive bathrooms and a delicious breakfast in the morning. Magnificent!Outstanding country pub/restaurant and guest rooms. It was worth the wait though as the day met all our expectations. We stayed at the cottage next to the pub, which was handy as we used this as a base for getting ready for the big day. It is beautifully decorated and kitted out for a comfortable stay. On the patio outside is a huge bell tent. This was well needed as when we were saying our vows, the heavens opened! Luckily, it was large enough to keep everyone dry and happy. The space outside as well as inside is impressive. There are seating areas dotted around on the grass where guests were able to enjoy drinks whilst watching the sun setting. Huge thanks to Adam and Rachel who organised everything so well and ensured the big day ran smoothly without a hitch. Adam even live streamed the ceremony to my folks in Hong Kong - amazing and made my parents very happy! So, if you are looking for a venue that has everything - incredible food, great views, excellent location and service with a smile, then this is the place for you! The inside is beautifully decorated with cotswold charm and the outside space has spectacular views across the open countryside. We had a fairly big wedding with 60 day guests and around 100 evening guests. The food was incredable every dish was perfect and hand finished by the brilliant chefs. The staff were attentive with drinks. If I could go back and do it all again .. I would pick the Feathered Nest everytime ... nothing was too much trouble, the planning and meal selection was easy and Rachel and Adam made sure we had the most amazing day .... Meeting a friend for a quick drink and a bite, I was excited to see new options on the menu and went for the Tuna Tartare starter, followed by Aubergine main. Both were outstanding options for non meat eaters, beautifully presented as always with incredible depth of tastes. Will always recommend this restaurant as a very special place to eat.It's been a while since I visited The Feathered Nest, but the staff still welcome me like an old friend, and the venue is still as charming as ever. We had an exceptionally good meal, everything was well taken care of down to the smallest detail. And finally, nothing beats a warm openfire, in short, we highly recommend this accommodation. We chose the taster menu which consisted of 6 small courses.. The food was lovely. We both thoroughly enjoyed it.. Delicious flavours in each one.. The service was excellent. Extremely attentive and we were made to feel welcome.. It is expensive although we both felt that it was justified for the exceptional quality in all spheres My husband and I booked a table here as wanted something special for our 6th wedding anniversary..
