We celebrated our wedding anniversary here in the stylish restaurant¦ The 3 course meal and wine was outstanding, couldn't fault any of the food¦ Lovely, relaxed atmosphere... Staff were attentive & friendly. Definitely coming back and highly recommend..

We had our 50th Wedding anniversary celebration with 70 people on 24th July. All the staff were very efficient and friendly. The food was excellent. The private outside area fabulous. Lovely room for overnight stay with wonderful view. Recommend.

On arrival at our wedding enquiry meeting at The Captain's Club we weren't quite sure what to expect. We knew the venue was stunning from previous dinner visits but when it comes to picking a wedding venue it's a whole different ball game. However, on talking to Cheryl we immediately realised everything about The Captain's Club and their Oyster package was perfect for us. A luxury venue with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the highest quality food and drinks at a really competitive rate. Everything we could possibly need, arranged under one roof by a team of experts. During the planning, on the day and afterwards nothing was too much trouble for Cheryl and the team. Cheryl, our wedding planner offered a never ending supply of invaluable advice and was always contactable, answering all of the countless questions we had in the run up to our big day. Throughout the planning, we were always made to feel so welcome whenever we visited the hotel. The day was perfect from start to finish and the service was impeccable, the attention to detail and little personal touches by individual members of the hotel did not go unnoticed and was far more than we could have wished for.
