As the only venue of its kind in the UK, it combines classical Italian-inspired architecture with the elegance and privacy of an exclusive-use estate. Spanning three stunning floors, the venue is entirely dedicated to your celebration, with the iconic balcony overlooking the Italian Garden providing an unforgettable backdrop for photographs and ceremonies alike.

With no other events taking place, you and your guests can enjoy complete privacy and a seamless, luxury experience from start to finish. Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration for 65 guests or a grand reception for up to 160, The Italian Villa offers flexible, elegant spaces to suit your vision. The venue is fully air conditioned, with lift access to all three floors and built-in sound systems throughout, making it as practical as it is beautiful.
To complete your experience, we are delighted to offer The Summer House, our luxurious onsite accommodation exclusively for couples marrying at The Italian Villa. Just a short stroll through the gardens, this elegant retreat is the perfect place to unwind before and after your wedding day. With stylish interiors, a private terrace, and picturesque garden views, The Summer House provides a romantic and peaceful escape, offering a seamless and luxurious end to your celebration.

- CCheryl and Jason26/11/2025The perfect day The perfect dayFrom the start of the process of booking Shannon and Lauren could not of been more helpful, no question was to small and nothing too much trouble. The venue itself is stunning and well kept and the gardens are beautiful. On the lead up to the wedding and the day, the lovely Bianca organised everything for us, nothing was missed and her attention to detail was fantastic, from calming my nerves ,holding my dress, making sure everything ran on time and making sure everyone had what they needed. The food was delicious and presented beautifully and lots commented on how lovely it was. Bianca and her team were very flexible and accommodating with our ideas (to make the day interesting for everyone - children, gourmet guests; florist and DJ set up etc) and she made sure that the day followed the schedule as planned. The Compton Acres gardens were a bonus for our guests, since they could visit them for free. And for us, because we've had our photo session there. From the beginning, it was very easy to book appointments, and we were guided through the process (venue viewing, menu options, drink options). Bianca and her team were very flexible and accommodating with our ideas (to make the day interesting for everyone - children, gourmet guests; florist and DJ set up etc) and she made sure that the day followed the schedule as planned. Everything was so friendly, not too formal, and all of the operations staff went above and beyond. In particular the professionalism, attention to detail and clear passion for their work of Bianca, the Lead on the day was remarkable, and both my husband and I left the handover meeting the day before (as did our whole family) delighted that the day would be in such capable hands. From then to keeping everything organised for us to collect, and even before the day sorting out special wine for us, there is nothing we could have wanted more from an operational perspective. We did have a small amount of difficultly in advance in arranging our preferred serving style with the Villa, but it was quickly rectified and we were so pleased to have everything as we wanted, and to have such delicious food. We’ve been told the sausages were the best multiple people have “ever had”! Would absolutely recommend this venue. It is no exaggeration to say that every guest loved the venue, the food and the service on the day of our wedding. Everything was so friendly, not too formal, and all of the operations staff went above and beyond. From the moment we viewed the Villa we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. We used the Medici suite for our ceremony with drinks reception outside. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained allowing for some stunning photos. Our wedding co-ordinator, Shannon was incredibly friendly, helpful and made planning our wedding so much easier. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. From setting up our decorations, accommodating various dietary requirements, and making the day run smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for more. On our wedding day, everything ran like clockwork. We were able to relax and enjoy our day, knowing that Bianca was on hand and working behind the scenes so the day ran on time. We enjoyed a wonderful evening tasting our menu before the big day. The food is delicious. All our guests complimented the incredible food and drinks. The weather was glorious which obviously helped, but the venue itself is stunning and could fool you in to thinking you actually are in Italy. Our guests couldnt believe how beautiful it was. What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Be sure to give yourselves plenty of time to soak it all in—your day will go by quickly and can feel a bit overwhelming! Don't rush through the schedule, and try to steal a few quiet moments alone together throughout the day.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of our 2019 couples took their wedding experience to the next level by having a custom fragrance created exclusively for their big day. The scent was subtly infused throughout the venue, filling the air all day and evening. As a special touch, they gave each guest a mini bottle of the perfume as a favour, ensuring that every time they wore it, the memories of that unforgettable day would come rushing back.
