As mother of the bride, I would not hesitate in recommending The Bay Tree for a wedding, particularly in winter, with its flagstone floors, roaring fires and Christmas decorations. The wedding package they offer with exclusive use of all their bedrooms is extremely competitive and makes you feel as if you are hosting a private, intimate house party. If you are looking for an historic, attractive and authentic venue in the heart of the Cotswolds, with excellent customer service, then The Bay Tree is ideal. Laura, the Wedding Coordinator is superb and you can add as many personal touches to your Reception as you wish. All the staff are totally delightful; friendly, efficient and always willing to go the extra mile, from Reception, to the waiting and bar staff, who end up feeling like extended family. The food, for the price, was excellent and my daughter married at nearby Shorthampton Church, just 6 miles away. Having our meal lit almost entirely by candles was magical on what turned into a wet, cold December afternoon - the perfect retreat! As mother of the bride, I would not hesitate in recommending The Bay Tree for a wedding, particularly in winter, with its flagstone floors, roaring fires and Christmas decorations.
