The Banking Hall

We started planning our wedding with only six months' notice and The Banking Hall really helped us get everything sorted in time. We were even able to send out save-the-dates designed and printed by The Banking Hall staff for us really quickly. All of our guests have a really great time. We even got some good weather and explored the garden and courtyard.

I am very happy to say that my daughter married the man of her dreams at The Banking Hall yesterday! Thank you so much to all of the staff who helped make their day extra special. The wedding planner Beth was especially helpful while we were planning and she even helped us find some of the vendors we needed. Thank you!

We got married at The Banking Hall in June 2023. We were very happy to find a venue with such a beautiful design. We wanted a traditional, classic feel for our wedding day and the historical look of the Banking Hall gave us exactly what we wanted. The food was excellent too!

Beth really was exceptional in helping us plan every detail of our Wedding from start to finish. She was in regular contact to help with all our queries. On the day, we throughly enjoyed drinks in the lovely courtyard garden, the most delicious food, and guests loved the intimate venue with a relaxed vibe, and 1920s bar. We would not have changed anything on the day. We had guests saying it was the best wedding they’d been to. The organisation of the Banking Hall really contributed to this, and made it outstanding.

We chose to hold our wedding ceremony at the bank house opposite the Angel hotel on the 1st July 2023. From the get go nothing was too much trouble and Beth Holmes the events manager took all of the stress away from us as a couple and she undoubtably ( along with many of the other staff at the Angel Hotel) made our special day perfect from start to finish. We could not fault any of the service we received and the food was exceptional. All of our 50 guests commented on the outstanding welcome and hospitality they received. We can’t thank Beth and her colleagues enough for making our wedding day such a memorable one.

We attended a family party here. The venue is elegant and the food, a hot and child buffet was plentiful and tasty. Recommended for events and functions.

I had my 40th birthday party at the Banking Hall. We had pre-drinks in the angel courtyard, the sun was shining for us and it was a lovely setting. We then moved into the Banking Hall, the set-up is so beautiful and plenty of space for our approx 95 guests. We had the Greek meze buffet which was lovely. Beth organised the event for me and was so attentive and fabulous on the night.
