Just had a lovely weekend at the Abbey Hotel with my husband and another couple. The staff were absolutely wonderful, from Monica, Tia and Odile on reception to all of the staff in the spa, restaurant and housekeeping. They couldn't have been more helpful! Our room was large and very comfortable and the food was good. We would definitely stay again but would request a room away from the ballroom as the events taking place on each evening were quite loud (the music was great though!)Just had a lovely weekend at the Abbey Hotel with my husband and another couple. We had our wedding on the 1st July . Lorraine did an amazing job at making sure everything was covered and making sure we had thought of everything! We had the most magical day thankyou to all of the staff especially the lady who worked on the reception for the night before and day of she was amazing and nothing was too big for her to do even putting my dress In her room and looking after it so it was away from little fingers . What a fabulous day the room was perfect (great recommendation from you), the casual seating all round the room was super great relaxing area for everyone. Please send compliments to the chef and his team the food was second to none and everyone without exception enjoyed it and there was plenty of everything (I did send a message back to the kitchen but I case they didn't get it I thought I'd tell you). We have had a lovely time. Thank you for all of your assistance in trying to please us. The room for dining was essential and great, food very good and the waiting staff were really helpful. Just thought I would let you know that I attended the Peak Binders Murder Mystery Evening on Friday. It was brilliant – I came with my family, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The company that put on the entertainment were really good and kept us all thoroughly entertained even in the face of some disruptive guests. We just want to say a huge thank you for all that you did for us to enable Norah’s reception to pass off so smoothly on Tuesday this week. Nothing was too much trouble, everything ran like clockwork, all the staff were efficient, helpful and unobtrusive. It took a lot of stress from our shoulders which we certainly needed and appreciated. We will definitely recommend your services to others in similar need in the future. OMG - it was just amazing and we are still on cloud 9 now. Steph, Liam, Georgie and Shane just to name a few were absolutely bloody fantastic and a complete asset to the Abbey Hotel and each one of these went above and beyond and showed pure dedication to their jobs. The room was laid out absolutely perfectly and was everything we imagined. The weather was amazing and Steph setting the garden games up outside rather than just putting the boxes out for us. OMG - it was just amazing and we are still on cloud 9 now.
