Tall John's House Weddings

A massive thank you to Archie, Liza and the team at Tall John’s House. We exclusively hired the venue for our wedding in October for 3 days and we had the best day ever! The luxury barn was the perfect space for our wedding and didn’t need much in terms of decor as it’s such a beautiful space in itself. The grounds are so picturesque and very well maintained by all the ground staff who work hard to keep it looking so beautiful - we were lucky to have the most perfect Autumn day and the grounds just looked so incredible with all the Autumn colours, we honestly couldn’t have hoped for any better. The breakfasts provided by Ken were scrumptious - we had a full English provided for both mornings. Ken also cooked us up a storm for guests staying on Friday night which was again very tasty. A massive thank you to Archie - his laid back demeanour just makes everyone feel at ease and we used Doctor’s Orders bar for the evening of our wedding - the cocktails were on point! Thank you again to everyone for making it simply the best day we could have ever hoped for.

Honestly, it was a truly unforgettable day and I'm not sure Ffi and I can quite believe it's happened yet, but simply it was the greatest day we've ever had and your beautiful venue was a huge part of that. Thank you again for all you and the team have done.

From the moment we arrived on Friday until we left on Sunday. All was superb. The beautiful setting of Tall Johns , the comfortable accommodation and the relaxed but excellent attention of all those working at Tall John’s made our weekend! They had the wedding day of their dreams as they had hoped. Ken made us wonderful meals ; Archie you are a joy. Always there getting things sorted, in a calm and relaxed way. So very helpful. And Liza - you have been an incredible help all through the year

What can I say except that my new wife and I had the most incredible weekend at TJH celebrating our wedding and we're still flying over the moon with what an experience we just had, it truly is a magical place made all the more better by Archie and his team. They helped put us at ease every step of the way and have a very calming presence that matches the location. Everything went without a hitch and everybody had an absolute blast and couldn't get over how wonderful Tall John's really was.

We had such a wonderful time!! I cannot recommend the venue enough, so we are super grateful for everything.

Many thanks to Archie and Liza for making our day so special. We had the opportunity to visit a few times prior to the wedding in order to plan our day perfectly. I could not have asked for a better venue.
