With its long sweeping drive on its approach, the original timber beams on display throughout, to the picturesque Suffolk countryside surrounding the ancient parkland, the 15th Century Courtyard Barn is the perfect setting for a relaxed and intimate wedding day. The venue consists of two original barns linked by three steps through a stunning beamed wall. Holding a license for ceremonies, the barns are perfect for intimate celebrations and can also accommodate larger weddings to seat up to 160 guests. The dedicated and enthusiastic Event Team have the knowledge and experience to provide full support in assisting couples to organise their special day from the early booking stages right through to the end of the evening reception.

Congratulations on your engagement! Welcome to the gorgeous Suffolk barn where you can create your own special day that's all about you. The barn has all the essentials inside a stunning rustic box. All you need to do is to add your catering, bar, decorations and music!! We pride ourselves to deliver a relaxed friendly service I can help with the planning and contacts - I have a wonderful little black book! We will also be your in-house day co-ordinator to ensure the day runs smoothly.

Loved Suffolk Barn, we had a dry hire with the freedom to customise our day, from street food and garden games to bespoke lighting. We wanted a relaxed day, that felt like a festival as opposed to a formal day. Would highly recommend the location and the team managing our day! My husband and I wanted a super chilled out venue where we could do everything we wanted our way and the Suffolk Barn was perfect for that! In the build up to the big day both Georgie and Rupert were super helpful, they checked in on the set-up the day before and made us feel at ease. Rupert’s son helped to make the day seamless and knew what was needed and when - he was even super supportive when a couple of guests had taxi issues in the evening and couldn’t get off site. I couldn’t imagine having our day anywhere else!My husband and I wanted a super chilled out venue where we could do everything we wanted our way and the Suffolk Barn was perfect for that! This venue was absolutely perfect!! As soon as we saw it- we knew it was the one. The outside space is gorgeous and the inside is just as incredible. We loved that we could put all our own touches on the day. We cannot thank Georgie enough- she helped us with advice, visits before the wedding day and was an incredible asset to the day ( especially keeping me calm before I walked down the aisle!) Our guests loved the venue and we cannot recommend it enough. Thank you to the incredible Suffolk barn team! This venue was absolutely perfect!! As soon as we saw it- we knew it was the one. Did a wedding disco here last weekend. Absolutely fantastic sound system and also excellent lighting also as well. Fantastic place for any wedding. Hosts are a very nice couple too. Very helpful too. Would gladly love to play here again. Beautiful surroundings also as well. Great venue for your wedding or birthday party. Or any celebration. Very clean alsoDid a wedding disco here last weekend. We held our wedding at Suffolk Barn in September 2021 and were so happy with everything. We loved that you're free to put your own stamp on the day. We did a dry hire and brought in our own suppliers. Rupert, the owner, is really friendly and relaxed, he had very helpful advice when we needed it and also gave a lot of freedom with how we could use the space. Everything was really easy and low-stress. The venue is beautiful, with so much history, plus well equipped with good lighting, great soundWe held our wedding at Suffolk Barn in September 2021 and were so happy with everything. Beautiful place to have a wedding! Admittedly the bride and groom did a significant amount to dress the venue and the glorious sunshine helped but it is a lovely rustic barn that has been sympathetically restored. It’s laid out in an L shape to allow for ceremony, dinner and dancing all in one place. Perfect size for a 80-100 person event and surrounded by green fields and countryside.Beautiful place to have a wedding!
