Sudbury House Hotel is a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian property, lovingly restored to create a timeless and elegant wedding venue. Blending historic charm with contemporary comfort, the hotel is adorned with antique furnishings, striking artwork, sculptures and classic clocks, offering a truly romantic setting for your special day.
The historic Old House provides a traditional entrance ideal for welcome drinks and photographs, an oak-panelled civil ceremony room with a feature fireplace, and the Regency Room for intimate celebrations of up to 10 guests.
For larger weddings, the main hotel offers a more modern style with a warm and welcoming bar lounge, stylish accommodation, and a spacious restaurant seating up to 160 guests for a wedding breakfast or up to 200 for an informal buffet or evening reception. With licensed areas throughout the Old House, main hotel and gardens, Sudbury House can host weddings from 10 to 160 guests, with a variety of flexible spaces for ceremonies, dining and celebrations.
Located on the edge of the Cotswolds in the charming market town of Faringdon, Sudbury House sits between Oxford and Swindon. Just off the A420, with easy access to the M4 and M40, it is conveniently located for guests travelling from further afield.

I felt Natalie and the team understood any worries and concerns I had and were able to empathise and problem solve in the run up. Never did I feel that things were not in hand, and my now husband even commented on how great Natalie and team at Sudbury House were. If you're wondering if this is a great wedding venue, then I can honestly say I'd recommend Sudbury HouseWe had our wedding here in May. I can't fault Sudbury House, and that's saying something as I am a control, perfectionistic freak. I felt Natalie and the team understood any worries and concerns I had and were able to empathise and problem solve in the run up. Never did I feel that things were not in hand, and my now husband even commented on how great Natalie and team at Sudbury House were. We had the best day, the grounds are stunning and the bridal suite is the icing on the cake! Every wedding is different here at Sudbury House, we have punk weddings, a vintage tea party, historical and traditional.
