Your wedding breakfast will be served in the adjoining Lower Barn, featuring rustic wooden walls, authentic beams, and large doors opening out onto our marquee and patio. Perfect venue

Suzanne and the team were absolutely fantastic planning our big day. From the initial conversations to running the show they were full of ideas and recommendations. We absolutely loved the venue, it's got such personality, different rooms for ceremony and dinner and wonderful grounds. We couldn't recommend them enough and wish we could do it all again!

Such a beautiful place on our doorstep!

We had our wedding at Stokes Farm Barn at the beginning of September and were absolutely thrilled with the whole process! Suzanne was amazing at helping make our Wedding day perfect! From our initial contact back in lockdown she was always available, answering any questions, providing expert advice and on the day seemed to be everywhere all at once! Everything went so smoothly, and the venue looked amazing! So many great compliments on the venue and so lucky to have such a beautiful place on our doorstep! We also made use of the teepee hire and stayed the night which was fantastic, especially breakfast brought to the tent and seeing all the animals in the morning! Thank you Stokes Farm Barn!

Where’s the best photo spot at Stokes Farm Barn?

I love the area by the pond - you are still very close to the barn but with the long grass and wild flowers, couples are hidden from their guests to have a moment of calm and get some lovely photos surrounded by flowers & the water. You also get the most stunning sunset by the pond - also a beautiful photo opportunity!

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at Stokes Farm Barn?

Barack Obama!! Before his time as President, Barack attended his sister's wedding here at Stokes Farm Barn!! This was a long time ago and before most of the renovations. The photos are brilliant as they not only show our famous guest but also just how much the barn has improved over the years!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Smoked Mackerel & Horseradish on a Beetroot Blini - it is fresh and so tasty! So many couples choose this after tasting it despite saying they hadn't considered it until they tried it!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Ooh - tricky to say - the pizza van is hugely popular as all guests love pizza!! I also love the s'mores over the fire pit - you get an atmosphere like no other!

What is Stokes Farm Barn most unique feature?

I would say the balcony bar - it is always such a great atmosphere as it looks over the dance floor. The bar is fully stocked including local beer & cider, a local English Sparkling wine and a fab cocktail list! Several guests have said it is like a grown up tree house!!

What part of your business are you most proud of?

My main aim has always been to help our couples and make sure they enjoy themselves at each step of the way. We play a big part in the planning process which means we can deliver to a high standard on the day. The feedback we have from couples and guests is excellent - we are always complimented on our amazing team, the wonderful food & drink and the general atmosphere of the venue - so I guess this!! We are also very proud to be a family run business with our core values being around being the most welcoming and helpful to couples and their guests.
