We had the most amazing day , I had hired the roulette room for myself and bridesmaid to get ready in fabulous !! Nothing was too much trouble all the staff were exceptional and made us feel like a king and queen ! The best day ever

Thank you for the best day of our lives. Everything was perfect and our guests kept commenting that we had chosen the best wedding venue ever. The standards were so high all weekend and the food was incredible.....but it was the staff at Statham Lodge that took it to that next level. Everyone was polite, professional and friendly. We were lucky to have our Wedding Day at Statham Lodge recently, I have always been aware of the excellent reputation this hotel has but to experience it first hand was fantastic. Andy and the team were absolutely wonderful, everything from my husband and his family staying over the night before to when the last guest departed on Sunday morning was perfect. The quality of the food throughout was excellent, cooked to perfection and piping hot. Customer service was faultless, nothing was too much trouble for any member of the team. The set up of the room was also perfect and looked exactly how I had imagined it to be. A special mention and thank you to Andy, he was there supporting,helping and advising both me and my husband at all times and made the whole day relaxed and stress free. I wanted the day to be perfect, romantic and seamless...it was just that. The weather was kind to us and so we had most of our photography in the beautiful grounds which was fantastic. Most of our family and friends stayed overnight after the wedding and were very complimentary of the rooms and breakfast the next morning. I would advise anybody who is looking for their perfect wedding to hold it at Statham Lodge. The only sad thing is that the day went far too fast and I wanted to do it all again the next day. Thank you Statham Lodge, you have an excellent product and a fantastic team to support it!

My new husband and I got married on Saturday 13th May 2017 at Statham and I can honestly say that I wouldn't have wanted any more from a venue. From our first visit, nothing was too much trouble for Andy and the all of the staff. Both Emma and Andy were a calming influence and made us feel like the only couple to get married there (they have weddings all the time!). We had every bedroom booked out for our family and friends and every guest commented on how comfortable and cosy the rooms were. The hotel has a fantastic family feel and perfect environment for a wedding. The drinks, canapés, wedding breakfast and buffet exceeded our expectations and Andy was the perfect MC and wedding coordinator from start to finish. We can't thank the staff enough! For anybody considering Statham for their wedding, book it! You won't regret it :-)

My daughter was married at Statham Lodge recently and it was everything she wished for. When we first visited to enquire I felt reassured the minute I walked in. There is an air of calm and when we met the owner I could see from where the calm reassurance emanated. " Let us look after you ". She said . And she did too. It's not a corporate business but it is run as a family . The staff are all friendly,polite and efficient and they really enjoy looking after you. The wedding plans took place without any fuss. We had a couple of visits and a meeting a few weeks before the wedding date with Andrew to finalise details. He took on board all the various requirements and ensured that on the day all went to plan without a hitch. Statham Lodge only takes one wedding per day. So it's as if you have the whole graceful Georgian Manor House , the sitting room / bar, the reception room and the beautiful grounds and patio to enjoy with just your family and guests. The marriage took place in the Gazebo and that was also tasteful and elegant . The bride walking through the elegant reception room via an archway into the garden. very romantic Pre-reception drinks were served on the lawn/ patio. The reception / dining room was very spacious (110 guests ) it looked stunning. The food was exceptional, and the service was unobtrusive , quick and very efficient. There were plenty of waiting staff to ensure all the tables were being served at the same time. I have attended functions where some tables have almost finished their meal whilst others are still being served that was not the case at Statham Lodge The owner was in attendance and I appreciated her applying personal touches such as fixing button holes and corsages properly and offering a guiding hand if required. It was clear that she had total confidence in her staff and was proud of everyone one of them That was evidenced in the care and commitment with which they all performed their duties throughout the day. I could go on and on but suffice to say if you are planning a wedding then I would heartily recommend Statham Lodge in total confidence It's a perfect venue because of the dedicated team that ensures the Bride's happiness. Can I thank everyone at Statham Lodge , both front of house and those who worked hard behind the scenes for a perfect day and giving family and guests such great memories. Well done!

You put us completely at ease from the first time we visited the venue, all the preparation and build up, right until we left for home. Thank you for making the wedding so personal to us and fulfilling any request. From start to finish the day was seamless with smooth transitions between every part; it allowed us to relax and enjoy our entire wedding day. They are very experienced and know exactly what they are doing here to ensure your day runs without a hitch! The venue is stunning! Lots of garden space outside, a huge reception room and the bar across the hall. Plenty of areas for guests to enjoy without everyone becoming too spread out and lost; it is well contained. The staff were welcoming, caring and efficient; nothing was ever too much to help us and our guests during our time here. The food was delicious with excellent and prompt service. They liaised and communicated very well with other vendors and services taking place on the day. There is a reason this venue has so many dates booked up in advance. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful, special and memorable day!

We had our wedding here in August 2017- this hotel is simply amazing! The rooms, grounds and staff make this family run business the best wedding venue around. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff and its obvious they have such pride in their workplace. The planning and organisation of this venue is brilliant- making what is normally a very stressful time easier. The food is also fantastic- we received so many complimentary comments from our guests. My husband and I got married here in June 2017. We had our ceremony outside and our wedding reception in the Gainsborough Suite. Andrew was our wedding coordinator and did a brilliant job leading up to the day and throughout the course of the day. A few of us stayed the evening before the wedding and I stayed in a Twin room. The room was quite spacious and contemporary, everything you need for a nights stay. We had breakfast in the morning which consisted of continental and hot options and the lady that served us was lovely and chatty. We hired the dressing room to all get ready in, which is perfect for a Wedding as it gives you the space to relax as well as plenty of dressing space for everyone. The day was brilliant from the get go, everything was set up perfectly from the outdoor ceremony to the reception and special touches around. The grounds here are wonderful and have helped create lovely photographs. For the food we chose soup to start, chicken roast for the main and shortbread biscuits with fruit for dessert. Everyone loved the food and the portions are a reasonable size so no one was left hungry! In the evening they changed the Gainsborough Suite into a party atmosphere, opening up the bar and setting up the DJ & dance floor. We had a hog roast outside in the evening which went down well with all the guests. The Bridal Suite is gorgeous. It comes with a four poster bed, small sitting area with cosy fire and a large bathroom with separate shower and large Jacuzzi tub. There is honestly nothing we would have changed, we couldn't have chosen a better venue to celebrate our day. Thank you Statham Lodge! Overall, the hotel isn't just a wedding venue. Its a perfect option for anyone looking for a romantic, quiet break. The hotel has that country house feel but with modern touches.

What can I say absolutely amazing. Andy who was our wedding coordinator helped us from beginning to end. On the day he was fantastic. All the staff were amazing so friendly really went out of there way. The food was absolutely amazing all my guests said the food was out if this world. The breakfast was lovely full English. Also the rooms were lovely I stayed in the bridal suit and then another suite lovely comfortable rooms. Special thank you to Andy and also the lovely guy at reception I forgot his name foreign man has 3 kids he was amazing. But all the staff are.
