Set in Hillington, just outside King’s Lynn and a stone’s throw from the Sandringham Estate, Stables is a relaxed, character-filled wedding venue for couples looking for something a little different. This blank-canvas space sits alongside the wonderfully quirky Ffolkes pub,home to rotating street-food traders, a container golf course and bold, colourful design. The brand new FFOLKESPA, a vibrant and playful spa experience is ideal for unwinding before or after the big day. The venue also offers 25 quirky guest bedrooms, some with outdoor baths and hot tubs, plus the stunning Hayloft Suite for newlyweds.

Flexible and full of charm, Stables offers a variety of spaces to suit weddings of all styles. Couples can expect a fun, informal and anything-but-ordinary celebration, supported by a friendly and dedicated events team from start to finish.

Stables is licensed for civil ceremonies in the private courtyard (up to 120 guests), the main downstairs space (120) or the upstairs ceremony room (70). The beautifully restored 300-year-old coach house can host up to 120 guests for a seated meal or 200 for a reception. A standout feature is the private courtyard, complete with heaters and lounge seating,perfect for drinks, dancing and celebrations under the stars.

Food is provided by the in-house chefs via the FEAST counter, offering relaxed buffet-style dining from a choice of six menus, including grazing boards, roasts and barbecue feasts. Canapés are available for drinks receptions, and evening menus served in bite-sized portions, perfect for keeping guests fueled without missing the dancefloor. A private bar within the function space ensures drinks are flowing throughout the celebrations.

With the option to stay, spa, dine and celebrate all in one place, Stables is perfect for couples looking to turn their wedding into a full weekend of fun which can be rounded off with a large table for Ffolkes’ famous brunch.

The Perfect DayThe Perfect Day
We cannot thank Georgie, Becky, Rebecca and the rest of the team enough for helping deliver the perfect day. They really went above and beyond from helping us capture amazing sparkler photos, fluffing the dress to walk down the isle and to even getting us to our room at the end of the night, with a midnight feast (which was very appreciated when you’ve spent all night dancing and forget to eat). They really put our mind at ease and we were able to enjoy our wedding day without needing to worry about a thing. Thank you all so much! We wish we could do it again. Best day everBest day ever
Becky and Georgie kept saying don’t worry we have everything under control and it will go exactly as planned. They were right from start to finish. I turn round and a drink is there, I don’t have to go hunting to get anything as they are there to respond and rescue as needed. They read the room and you just like they do this every day! Karen and I had the most magical of days, the sun was shining (I’m sure they ordered that too) we knew exactly where to be as we were supported all the way along. The personalised service that was offered at the stables by the team was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. We would both do it again and again it was so fantastic and represented our personalities well. Our photographer commented that he has never met anyone as good or as dedicated to their role as Becky and we cannot thank them enough. I don’t have the words to praise this venue or the team enough. Wow! Thank you all so much for everything yesterday and the days and weeks before planning. It was the most incredible day and exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail you all give is amazing. Not only the way you relentlessly saw our wedding through from start to finish but how you also looked after us with such care, keeping us calm, fed, with drink and at all times in the know. The same for our guests; they could not have been in better hands. We didn’t have to worry one bit throughout the day, and that’s hugely because you are such a seamless team that makes weddings magical and look easy! Everyone complimented the venue, the team, and the staff, and all were blown away by the feast and picnic! The food is phenomenal!!Wow! Becky and Emma organised our wedding here in October 2022 and I cannot tell you how amazing the whole day was. Becky was on hand the entire day making sure everything went to plan and feeding us drinks to help with the nerves! The planning and organisation beforehand was really good, I had a lot of questions and worries beforehand which were answered quickly. I was concerned about the crazy golf right outside the venue and whether this would interrupt the ceremony and day, but we honestly wouldn’t have even known it was there. Couldn’t hear it at all. Beautiful venue and the Hayloft room was incredible, especially the enormous bathtub- would recommend! Nothing was too much trouble Nothing was too much trouble
Attended my nieces wedding in the stables on the 22nd of July 2023, after travelling down from Manchester. The events team were amazing from start to finish, with helping the bride and groom fulfil their wishes. The wedding was totally amazing but without going into detail, things took a bit of a twist. Becky, Georgie and Emma (the events team), were totally awesome in dealing with 2 medical situations, while ensuring that the show must go on. Despite it being quite emotional for us close family members, the team took control and prioritised everything, to ensure smooth running. Despite the twist in events, the wedding celebrations carried on and everyone had an amazing time. All thanks to Becky, Georgie and Emma. Can't thank you enough. We had our wedding at the Ffolkes April 2023 and wow we had the most amazing day. The venue is just stunning. We honestly couldn’t thank Emma and the team enough! From start to finish it was just perfect. Communication was always quick and professional. It was the little touches that helped. For example The groomsmen didn’t know how to put on their button holes and the team was there to help them. Emma was waiting at the bottom of the aisle with a beer and glass of pimms! Just what we needed. The team really had everything thought through! The food was lovely and such a massive selection. Your guests will not go hungry! The venue in itself is perfect. I had the most lovely evening with my bridesmaids staying in the hayloft. We had dinner in the pub the night before and then chilled out in the room. There was enough space the next day for hair, make up and photographer. The courtyard in the evening was perfect for guests. During the day a few of our younger guests went across the playground at the pub for some fun. It was nice they had this option! Overall could not recommend this venue highly enough! We really cannot put into words how incredible our wedding reception was at The Stables and can't thank the team enough for all of their help and support in making our wedding day extra special. We first viewed the venue when it was going through a refurbishment so it was a building site, but even then, we were so brought into the vision shared by Emma. We never wanted a typical off-the-shelf wedding and Georgie, Emma and Becky truly took the time to understand our vision and executed it beyond our dreams. From our first interaction, the team were so helpful and welcomed my endless questions and always responded with reassurance and excitement. When we arrived at the venue following our ceremony, our decorations and wedding case was set out so perfectly, there's no way we could have done it better ourselves. The team were so fabulous when it was my turn to jump into the wedding car and set off, and it was the small touches like helping me down the stairs that meant the world to me and really helped put me at ease; it was like getting hyped for the aisle with 3 really good friends. The Stables really made sure that all of our guests were well looked after; considering the tiniest of details which just made the evening absolutely perfect and stress-free for us, such as setting up our wedding cake beautifully, preparing us for our wedding entrance with a drink ready to hand, and keeping us on track with timings. The team went above and beyond and we cannot thank you enough. The feedback we have received from our guests has been glowing and they loved the quirkiness of the venue, laid-back atmosphere and THE FOOD. Omg the food. We knew it would be incredible but it was beyond our wildest expectations and everyone absolutely loved the variety and presentation and guests have described it as the best wedding food they have ever had. Having visited the Ffolks regularly we were certain that it was the right place to have our wedding with its quirky design and great food. Following our enquiry, we met Emma on site and discussed the sort of thing we would be looking for. Straight from the off, Emma couldn’t have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she instantly made us feel reassured that it was going to be a great day. Obviously, when planning the most important day of your life there were going to be some questions. Emma, Becky & Georgie were always really prompt to respond to calls and email. As the day arrived so did all the guests, we had booked the majority of the brilliantly furnished rooms and all had a meal in the pub the night before where the staff again were fantastic. Georgie helped to set up assisting with the flowers and table decorations. The wedding day brought terrible weather and it rained for most of the day. Becky & Georgie were amazing and ensured that the day went to plan without a hitch. The girls continued to surpass our expectations and many of our guests commented on how brilliant they had been and how delicious the food was, we were so pleased with everything.
