Becky and Georgie kept saying don’t worry we have everything under control and it will go exactly as planned. They were right from start to finish. I turn round and a drink is there, I don’t have to go hunting to get anything as they are there to respond and rescue as needed. They read the room and you just like they do this every day! Karen and I had the most magical of days, the sun was shining (I’m sure they ordered that too) we knew exactly where to be as we were supported all the way along. The personalised service that was offered at the stables by the team was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. We would both do it again and again it was so fantastic and represented our personalities well. Our photographer commented that he has never met anyone as good or as dedicated to their role as Becky and we cannot thank them enough. I don’t have the words to praise this venue or the team enough. If you are thinking of using the stables do it!

We cannot thank Georgie, Becky, Rebecca and the rest of the team enough for helping deliver the perfect day. They really went above and beyond from helping us capture amazing sparkler photos, fluffing the dress to walk down the isle and to even getting us to our room at the end of the night, with a midnight feast (which was very appreciated when you’ve spent all night dancing and forget to eat). They really put our mind at ease and we were able to enjoy our wedding day without needing to worry about a thing. Thank you all so much! We wish we could do it again. Connor and Eden 18.05.24

Firstly THANK YOU for making our special day - SIMPLY THE BEST! Working in hospitality, weddings and events it was always going to be hard to find a venue where I was confident to let go of the reins. We only got engaged in January 2023 and knew with family health concerns we needed to get on with things. We look at other venues and I struggled to see myself letting go of the control ...then we found you guys. We had eaten at The Ffolkes many times, we even went on the night we got engaged so it was pretty special to us. It was my first though but I thought it would be way out of our budget and I was worried people wouldn't travel from Peterborough. I made the enquiry on my way home from another Norfolk venue viewing after seeing the winter offers on Instagram. From the moment we visited the venue in April and met Becky, I knew it was the right venue for our wedding. I don't make on the spot decisions when it comes to big financial stuff but that day we booked it there and then. Even my husband and family were shocked! The whole team Becky, Emma and Georgie were fantastic throughout the wedding planning process. I didn't have loads of time as we booked for November 2023. I was also in the middle of moving house whilst running my own hospitality business with wedding bookings. I wasn't your typical bride and our wedding wasn't exactly traditional but that wasn't a problem for the team. Every question was answered quickly, nothing was too much trouble. Even the cocktail making during the ceremony, there was other quirky requests too. Fast forward to Wedding Weekend and it didn't disappoint. I was head strong on an outdoor ceremony but on the Friday it was clear it would be far too cold. That wasn't a problem for the team. they set up the ceremony space indoors for us and plan b was put into action. Even late night emails when they were picked up for the morning - family dramas. When the big day arrived I was able to let go, people even commented on how chilled I was getting ready compared to most brides. Nothing was too much trouble throughout the day, they were stars helping with my poorly name and difficult family members. We've had some many comments from guests that it was best wedding they had been too and how amazing the food was. I can't tell you how much it means to hear people being so complementary. Thank you for everything you did throughout the whole process, I'm sad its over now. We will be back to The Ffolkes for special occasions as the whole place means so much to us. Advice to other brides, Be bold and let your personalities shine. This team will make it happen!

My review won’t even come close to show others how special Stables is to me.. to us. My husband and I got married there July 2023. We booked the venue while it was undergoing refurbishment and even with piles of mud around us we could see what a beautiful venue it would be. We booked it straight away, exactly what we were looking for. From that moment, the very first meeting, the whole team (Emma, Becky and Georgie) were friendly, professional and extremely helpful with any questions we had and made us feel at ease. My many questions were answered promptly, friendly and without judgement if they were a bit silly. The day came, and the outside wedding we had planned couldn’t go ahead due to bad weather (torrential rain) I had only imagined the set up outside, being July we assumed it would be dry. Silly us. It didn’t stop all day so they had to move our day set up away and set up for the ceremony. It looked stunning. So lovely and we were more than happy with what they done. After the ceremony they then set up our day tables again seamlessly, quickly with no disruptions to us. The day didn’t continue how we had planned due to a couple of medical issues. Emma, Becky and Georgie were just fabulous. They kept it calm, helped where they could and ensured the day continued and all the guests had fun. Just how we wanted it. You’re in safe hands here. I can assure you, you are not just a number to these girls, not just another wedding on the list. They care for you. They want you to have the perfect day you have always dreamt of. They are more than an events team. Off the back of the day not being what we had planned, us as a couple not being very present on the day, every guest I spoke to commented on how fantastic Emma, Becky and Georgie were all day. Also the comments on the food are still ongoing today. ‘Best roast I have ever had’ has been said by quite a few of our guests. I can now agree with the comments on the food as we have been extremely lucky to be invited back to an evening dedicated to us as a couple so we could have our wedding breakfast, first dance and watch our wedding video at the venue. It was amazing and so so special. Our day may not have been perfect but with what the girls done for us, it’s somehow so much more perfect. We have extra memories now, ones we will never forget. Everyone complimented the venue, the team, and the staff, and all were blown away by the feast and picnic! The food is phenomenal!!

Attended my nieces wedding in the stables on the 22nd of July 2023, after travelling down from Manchester. The events team were amazing from start to finish, with helping the bride and groom fulfil their wishes. The wedding was totally amazing but without going into detail, things took a bit of a twist. Becky, Georgie and Emma (the events team), were totally awesome in dealing with 2 medical situations, while ensuring that the show must go on. Despite it being quite emotional for us close family members, the team took control and prioritised everything, to ensure smooth running. Despite the twist in events, the wedding celebrations carried on and everyone had an amazing time. All thanks to Becky, Georgie and Emma. Can't thank you enough. Highly recommend this venue and their 5* team.

Having visited the Ffolks regularly we were certain that it was the right place to have our wedding with its quirky design and great food. Following our enquiry, we met Emma on site and discussed the sort of thing we would be looking for. Straight from the off, Emma couldn’t have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she instantly made us feel reassured that it was going to be a great day. Obviously, when planning the most important day of your life there were going to be some questions. Emma, Becky & Georgie were always really prompt to respond to calls and email. As the day arrived so did all the guests, we had booked the majority of the brilliantly furnished rooms and all had a meal in the pub the night before where the staff again were fantastic. Georgie helped to set up assisting with the flowers and table decorations. The wedding day brought terrible weather and it rained for most of the day. Becky & Georgie were amazing and ensured that the day went to plan without a hitch. The girls continued to surpass our expectations and many of our guests commented on how brilliant they had been and how delicious the food was, we were so pleased with everything. A huge thankyou to Emma, Becky & Georgie for all your hard work in making our wedding a day to remember, we can’t wait to come back!

We really cannot put into words how incredible our wedding reception was at The Stables and can't thank the team enough for all of their help and support in making our wedding day extra special. We first viewed the venue when it was going through a refurbishment so it was a building site, but even then, we were so brought into the vision shared by Emma. We never wanted a typical off-the-shelf wedding and Georgie, Emma and Becky truly took the time to understand our vision and executed it beyond our dreams. From our first interaction, the team were so helpful and welcomed my endless questions and always responded with reassurance and excitement. When we arrived at the venue following our ceremony, our decorations and wedding case was set out so perfectly, there's no way we could have done it better ourselves. The team were so fabulous when it was my turn to jump into the wedding car and set off, and it was the small touches like helping me down the stairs that meant the world to me and really helped put me at ease; it was like getting hyped for the aisle with 3 really good friends. The Stables really made sure that all of our guests were well looked after; considering the tiniest of details which just made the evening absolutely perfect and stress-free for us, such as setting up our wedding cake beautifully, preparing us for our wedding entrance with a drink ready to hand, and keeping us on track with timings. The team went above and beyond and we cannot thank you enough. The feedback we have received from our guests has been glowing and they loved the quirkiness of the venue, laid-back atmosphere and THE FOOD. Omg the food. We knew it would be incredible but it was beyond our wildest expectations and everyone absolutely loved the variety and presentation and guests have described it as the best wedding food they have ever had. Thank you times a million!

We had our wedding at the Ffolkes April 2023 and wow we had the most amazing day. The venue is just stunning. We honestly couldn’t thank Emma and the team enough! From start to finish it was just perfect. Communication was always quick and professional. It was the little touches that helped. For example The groomsmen didn’t know how to put on their button holes and the team was there to help them. Emma was waiting at the bottom of the aisle with a beer and glass of pimms! Just what we needed. The team really had everything thought through! The food was lovely and such a massive selection. Your guests will not go hungry! The venue in itself is perfect. I had the most lovely evening with my bridesmaids staying in the hayloft. We had dinner in the pub the night before and then chilled out in the room. There was enough space the next day for hair, make up and photographer. The courtyard in the evening was perfect for guests. During the day a few of our younger guests went across the playground at the pub for some fun. It was nice they had this option! Overall could not recommend this venue highly enough! I just wish I could do it all over again! Thank you to everyone at the Ffolkes. We truly had a special day!
