Solent Hotel is an elegant wedding venue situated in Whiteley, Hampshire. The moment you walk into this property, the lovely team is there to help create the wedding of your dreams! From beautiful gardens, bespoke packages, and a personal help-in-hand every step of the way!
Facilities and Capacity
The Solent Hotel & Spa has 3 wedding suites.
The Hambledon Suite is located on our ground floor. Seating up to 150 guests for the day and 180 for an evening reception, the Hambledon Suite is our largest room. The suite comes with many special features including ambient lighting, an outside terrace and large dance floor to dance the night away. With its own private entrance and private bar, the Hambledon Suite is a perfect space for both night and day
The Carisbrooke Suite is located on our first floor. A beautiful room with open feel and bright, airy balcony. Ideal for up to 80 guests for the day and 110 for an evening reception. The Carisbrooke Suite also boasts it's own private bar and foyer.
The Terrace Private Dining Room is located on our first floor. If you are dreaming of saying 'I do' in a more intimate setting, the Terrace Private dining room is a perfect space. A superb room adjacent to the FYR Alfresco Terrace bringing natural light, it's ideal for an intimate ceremony and wedding breakfast seating up to 40 guests.

Whether our all-inclusive package has caught your eye or you prefer a tailor-made package that's perfect for you - we have everything covered. Come and see their dedicated team over a glass of bubbles, and they will show you the venue and its offerings. From a grand, large scale affair to an intimate ceremony followed by drinks, the team are happy to accommodate your wishes.

He helped plan, he had ideas we didn’t think of & he couldn’t do enough for us. Rio was one of the main reasons we chose to have our wedding here (along with the beauty of the place), and he showed us how it’s done. He is an absolute credit to The Solent Hotel & Spa, we are sad it’s all come to an end, as we saw Rio as a friend aswell as our wedding co-ordinator. We started booking our wedding in 2023 - to have in 2025. Rio was THE most amazing person too work with. He helped plan, he had ideas we didn’t think of & he couldn’t do enough for us. Rio was one of the main reasons we chose to have our wedding here (along with the beauty of the place), and he showed us how it’s done.
