Our wedding at Smeetham Hall Barn on 10th June 2024 was absolutely perfect! The venue’s elegant charm and stunning grounds provided a beautiful backdrop for our special day. The staff were exceptional, handling every detail with professionalism and care, allowing us to truly enjoy our celebration. Smeetham Hall Barn offered the perfect mix of beauty, excellent service, and a warm ambiance. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding and highly recommend it to any couple looking for an unforgettable venue.

Wow. What a day we had! It was the most perfect day we could have ever dreamt of. Sophie & the team are amazing from the minute you enquire to the big day. We knew the minute we walked into the venue for a show around, it was going to be THE venue. Sophie helped us the whole journey to ensure we had everything perfect for our big day - and perfect it was! Great value for money, beautiful venue & grounds and Sophie is just amazing!!! Thank you so so so much for ensuring our day was so perfect & just as we imagined. We wish we could do it all again!! Highly recommend!

We recently held our wedding at Smeetham Hall barn and we have to say everything was magical and the day was perfect. We had a few venue changes before we found Smeetham and we are so happy that by the will of the universe we not only found the venue but the PERFECT venue for any type of wedding. From the first visit to look around Sophie and her team were amazing, they were clear and concise in all aspects of what the venue offered and how they would help us plan our perfect day. They really are specialists in what they do and we are so grateful and privileged for their expertise. Our day went without a hitch as Sophie, Zoe and the team guided us through, thinking of every detail to ensure that our day was catered for our individuality. The venue is excellent value for money, the best possible when we compare to our original venue. The rustic feel of the barn and the gardens make it a perfect place for exquisite photography and still allows for modern twists. They were able to accommodate our various form of entertainment easily and seamlessly, whether it be the games and bouncy castle in the courtyard for the children, our acoustic live sessions after the ceremony, and the live band and DJ sets for the reception, literally the team will do ANYTHING to make your day perfect. Their ability to make you feel comfortable, looked after and keep everything flowing on your big day is second to none. Our guests commented on how beautiful the venue is and how the atmosphere was perfect. WE THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES. The catering for our big day was unreal, many of our guests commented that the food was among the best they had ever eaten at any wedding they had ever attended. Hayley helped us choose our perfect menu letting us change minor details where we needed to accommodate specialist dietary needs to give us our perfect menu and Lucy was our representative on the day and we could not fault her at all. She and her team prepared everything from the reception drinks, through to the wedding breakfast. Her attention to me and my now husband in particular was lovely. Lucy would literally find us no matter how far we were whether it was checking if we were okay, or bringing us a drink to calm the nerves or cool us down. Wilton and flower were also amazing, providing us with all the decorative touches we needed. They helped to guide us as we really had no idea what we needed. Highly recommend! Smeetham Hall, you made our day run incredibly smooth, your staff were attentive and supportive throughout our entire day and there was nothing we could have asked that would have been too much trouble. The venue was absolutely stunning, our guests were delighted with the entire day and we could not be more grateful for you guys. We had our wedding on the 27 July 2024 at the beautiful Smeetham Hall. When we looked around it we both knew instantly is was the place we wanted to get married. Everyone there is so chilled and friendly it has a lovely family vibe which we really liked. I’m probably one of the most unorganised people there is! But I didn’t need to worry as Sophie and the team were outstanding, thinking of every detail. Splinters the food caterers again were so helpful and accommodating and the food was impeccable. Wilton and flower the accessory company knew exactly what we needed to give our wedding the wow factor. Highly recommend to use them on your wedding day. A big thing for us was to have our own corkage which smeetham offer. This helped keep some of our cost down but even if they didn’t off this we would have still got married there. We got married outside and it was truly breathtaking the views are stunning. Chris the videographer who comes with smeetham was awesome-even helping our photographer out with places to go photos as he knows the grounds like the back of his hand. As soon as we viewed Smeetham Hall Barn,we knew it was perfect for us. We had a large wedding (150 daytime guests) so we knew we needed a large versatile space which could accommodate this many guests for the wedding breakfast but also provide a large dance floor and enough space for reception drinks indoors if the weather wasn't good. Sophie and the team were so calm and friendly but also incredibly organised and responsive to any questions we had throughout the whole process. I never felt like any question we had were too much. On the day, the team were beyond incredible! We had various plans due to the uncertain weather forecast yet everything ran seamlessly. Their timing and ability to make everything flow without us even thinking about it is so appreciated. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the barn looked, how much space both indoors and outdoors there was to enjoy and what an amazing atmosphere there was inside the barn throughout the evening especially with the live band. In terms of price, compared the other similar venues in the area we found the all inclusive package with catering amazing value. The food was so tasty and the portions are very generous! We got married at Smeetham Hall Barn on the 29th June 2024, but our relationship with Sophie and Victoria (and Bridget) goes back to 2022 when we saw how amazing the venue was. Leading up to the day, visits were always welcomed, no question was too small and no detail was left unturned. We had what I would describe as the perfect day which could not have happened without the team. The venue looked stunning in the sun and we would absolutely recommend getting married here.

We can’t thank Smeetham Hall enough, we had the most amazing day in the most beautiful grounds. From the very beginning all the team was so helpful but especially on the week leading up to the day. They put us completely at ease and I had every confidence that it would run smoothly. The barn itself is beautiful and the gardens so well maintained. All our guests said the same too Highly recommend!

Not only is this venue absolutely gorgeous, the staff are next level in terms of organisation, support, empathy and love! We originally planned our day with Bridget who exudes warmth and maternal energy and made us feel so at ease, and then when she passed the reigns to Victoria and Tom the transition was seamless and made us feel so confident in the lead up to our big day! No question was too silly, no viewings too many and they helped us plan everything down to the last detail including suppliers, how we’d organise getting both brides into the venue without seeing each other, and helping us plan for the multiple family members who used wheelchairs! I’m over the moon to say that Smeetham Hall Barn and its incredible staff went above and beyond to make the day fully disability friendly, and my (now) Mother in Law in the late stages of Huntington’s Disease was able to join us and love every minute thanks to the generosity and accessibility given by the staff! We spent the whole day in awe of the gorgeous venue, and just felt so loved, supported and cared for throughout the entire lead up and day of. The added bonus of being able to set up the day before and pack up the day after the ceremony was perfect for two anxious people like my wife and I, and it meant we could fully relax on the day without rushing round like mad! I can’t thank Victoria, Tom, Sophie and Bridget enough for their incredible help and letting us share our special day in their safe hands! Thank you so much!!!
