- CCassandra & Richard05/03/2024Engagement Party Engagement PartyDue to getting married abroad and only planning on inviting a small number of people to that, my fiancé and I decided to have a large Engagement Party where we could invite all our friends and family. Our party wasn’t huge but was large enough, 50-55 adults and 10-15 children attended and the space we had was ample for this. It wasn’t over crowded or a squeeze for everyone, it’s was very spacious and comfortable. The food was great, just picky bits but a wide selection that catered to many dietary requirements. The bar staff were so lovely and attentive the whole evening and drinks were reasonably priced. The venue was very clean, tidy and well kept and gorgeous views out across the Golf Course from the club house. Toilets were clean and tidy and easy to locate and the disabled toilets were easy to get to which was good as there were a few disabled and elderly people in attendance as well as a heavily pregnant person. Staff were all lovely and friendly also, booking was super easy with Donna and on the day she was there to help us set up and put decorations up. The club manager even loaned us a step ladder as I was too short to hang all of the decorations. The regulars and other Golfers were there during the day for set up and were friendly but didn’t get involved and nothing was out of place when we returned in the evening a few hours after set up. All in all a lovely venue, lovely people and wonderful atmosphere and would happily recommend to others in the area and would even hold another party there again if the opportunity came up.
