We had our wedding here in July and the whole experience couldn’t have been any better! We ate here a couple of times prior to the wedding and the service and food was amazing. On the day, the staff were amazing, the food was delicious and the whole place just felt like a home away from home! Any little issues on the day were dealt with quickly and without a fuss and everyone made sure that we were always happy. All the guests commented on what a cosy venue it was and how FANTASTIC the food & service was. The staff made sure that the venue was decorated just right and honesty they made it sooo dreamy. I couldn’t recommend The Shireburn enough! If you want a venue that has a feeling of elegance, country and charm this is your place. Everyone here made our wedding day unforgettable. I can’t wait to stay/ eat here again! Thank you to the whole Shireburn team!!

We have just celebrated our wedding at the Shireburn arms and what a fantastic day it was! The Shireburn has got it all, from spectacular views over the stunning Ribble Valley to the best food you have every tasted! Not forgetting the most amazing Wedding Co-ordinator- Sarah, and the most attentive General Manager Dave who made our vision of our special day come to life. Sarah took my idea and made it more than than what I could have dreamed of and Dave made sure everything ran smoothly and according to plan. Everything from start to finish has been fab. The whole team could not do anything more to support us on our planning journey and ensured that everything was just as we would like it. Even to little touches like popping in throughout the day and noticing that we needed another basket to place our guest book memories and providing this so we didn’t have to worry. Waking up the morning after with our guests and loved ones made the whole experience so much better as we continued our celebrations. We look forward to going back in years to come to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to everyone who made our dreams come true!

We would highly recommend The Shireburn Arms to any couple planning their big day. The setting of the venue is just perfect with views over the Ribble Valley. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your vision for the day comes to life. Our guests all commented on the quality of the food throughout the day and the accommodation is excellent for any guests that stay over.

The venue itself is situated in one of the most idyllic spots in the Ribble Valley. We knew straight away that we wanted to get married here. Sarah was a brilliant wedding co-ordinator who was so helpful and lovely from the moment we met her to book our wedding date, to the big day itself. Lots of recommendations, like the DJ from Exceed events and Creative venue stylists for the chair sashes and other decorations were at the wedding fairs which are personal and reasonably priced. The manager of the Shireburn Arms, Dave was friendly and was a brilliant host on the day. We felt like we knew them both him & Sarah by the time our wedding day arrived. The Wedding suite is just beautiful and all our guests said how lovely and comfortable their rooms were. The food … well …. what can we say … delicious! The meal was a resounding 10/10 with all of our guests. People commented on how much they enjoyed their 3 course meal, so thank you to the chefs! A lovely venue for a smaller wedding. We were so well looked after from booking right through to the day nothing was too much trouble even when we were changing numbers up to the week before. DAVE who looked after us on the day was brilliant every thing we needed he was there. Sarah the wedding planner was also amazing throughout

Honestly I couldn't recommend the Shireburn more. The venue is just absolutely stunning, the food choices are great and the wedding team just made everything such a breeze

My friend told me about The Shireburn Arms shortly after we got engaged as she thought the venue was perfect for James and I. We went looking around the venue and she was right - we love walking, beautiful landscapes, dogs and of course the venue has it all. We love how The Shireburn is full of character and has a wild, rustic vibe to it, which is definitely the style we like. It was the perfect venue and the perfect day!

There really aren’t enough words that will do this justice – Sarah was absolutely phenomenal! Always happy to answer any questions, sharing her vast experience with us so we could plan the day effectively and really made it feel like ours was the only wedding we she was planning. Grace, the receptionist, and Dave, our coordinator on the day, were also incredible. The thing we are most thankful for and which was truly valuable is how personal all of the staff made our wedding feel. Given we hadn’t met anyone until the beginning of 2022, you’d think we’d known each other years! They were so invested in giving us a day that was special and we would never forget and they delivered before anything that we thought was possible.

Sarah was amazing right from our first visit all the way through to our wedding day. She really helped to form our perfect day, exactly how we wanted it. Sarah made planning things much easier and more flexible than some of the other venues we had considered. Nothing seemed too much trouble and she was so kind and approachable, so I didn't feel too guilty when I was bugging her with loads of questions and information as we got closer to the wedding. As well as being a brilliant coordinator she was like an extra bridesmaid on the morning, providing reassurance and hugs and helping with dresses. So thank you Sarah, even though you did almost make me cry (happy tears) on more than one occasion!

Not only is the Shireburn Arms a truly beautiful venue in the heart of the Ribble Valley & great value for money but is also the only venue we looked at that made it feel like ours was the only wedding they were hosting all year. From start to finish, the team were kind, friendly and able to offer a wealth of their experience to create the most special day for us. The biggest thing about this venue is how genuinely excited the team were that we were getting married - given we'd only met them 10 months prior to the day, it felt like we'd known them a lifetime. Nothing was too much and we wouldn't have had the most incredible day we did without them!
