Couples benefit from the services of a specially assigned wedding host and we can help recommend with recommendations from our list of trusted suppliers.
For the added convenience of your guests, there is plenty of free parking with on-site accommodation available at special rates for the bridal party and wedding guests.
The Estate also features 47 bedrooms, along with 6 luxury cottages. Designed with guest comfort in mind, guests can enjoy a perfect nights sleep following a day of celebrations.

Let me start off with my dear Willow, who was our co-ordinator after replacing the previous one a few weeks before the wedding. Willow did so much for us especially me (the bride), she was on point with her communication from the start and made sure everything I had asked for, happened. I told her I wished she was my maid of honour! She made me feel at ease and accommodated us. The rest of the staff working on the day were fantastic, they were friendly, accommodating and so helpful. The staff serving the canapés made sure I ate and was so grateful for it. The bar staff were so friendly and chatty. Everyone kept saying how friendly the staff were! If you are contemplating on having your wedding at Salomons we a hundred percent recommend you to. We cannot fault ANYTHING! Ooh we also had pre-wedding dinner the night before, and the food was exquisite! Amazing amazing! The coordinators on the day and in the run up were super helpful and made everything run smoothly. We were as relaxed as we possibly could have been on the day and that was thanks to the team. The grounds are lovely and made for some great photos. Bar service was great on the day as well and the guests were kept happy all day. Would highly recommend!This venue was simply outstanding! We wanted the big theatre room but then switch rooms for the disco. Staff during the whole process were so helpful and no ask was too big or too small. Lauren our coordinator made me feel really at ease and everything was how I envisioned and requested. Food was delicious and the grounds are breathtaking. Compared to so many brochures I got, the price was very reasonable but without compromising. Would recommend 100%! Wow what can I say.. the staff of the venue really catered to our day. The food is not only the highest quality I've had for a large catering event (93 people) it was also high end restaurant standard. Our designated event manager Fiona was wonderful at guiding us through the preparations, and she and her team were fantastic on the day, meaning we had to think about nothing other than enjoying ourselves. The reception team were wonderful in looking after us on the morning of the wedding, with lovely touches such as fruit to keep us going, and prosecco to calm our nerves. The venue is wonderful and spacious, and the grounds are beautiful. The staff are attentive. If we were to do it all over again, we would pick Salomons. Our wedding was changed 4 times over the course of a year and every time Salomons were so accommodating and there to support us every step of the way. They replied to emails promptly and never made us feel like we were asking too many questions. The grounds are absolutely stunning and so is the inside. We were lucky enough to get married outside and then have our wedding breakfast and reception in the Science Theatre and it really was just beautiful with incredible food and amazing staff that made you feel like the most important people in the world. They genuinely couldn’t have done more for us. Two people that really helped us were Courtney and Fiona. Courtney supported us through all of our changes and Fiona was our wedding coordinator. They are incredible women who went above and beyond for us both. Fiona did an excellent job before and more importantly on the day of the wedding and had everything under control, organising vendors, and decorations whilst still making us both feel calm and important. We genuinely couldn’t have picked a better venue or team of staff and we feel extremely lucky to have got married here. The golf buggy trips to and from our rooms to the main house were such great fun. The food at our wedding breakfast was delicious and the buffet breakfast was fab. The staff were incredible, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back soon to stay and in the meantime will have our happy memories to cherish.Staff at Salomons could not have been more friendly or professional, they went out of their way to make our wedding weekend stay the most amazing time , thank you to all the staff. The catering manager was particularly good. Food was excellent, exceeded the tasting we had. The location is utterly beautiful, the grounds in keeping with nature and the house understatedly grand with intriguing and fine decor. What made the day so perfect though, was the impeccable service. Smiling, polite, moving seamlessly and inobtrusively amongst people and tables to see to guests every need. Observant, so that empty glasses, water and wine bottles were removed and replaced. Every request regarding dietary needs was prepared and catered for. I can say that the staff at Salomon's provide the most accommodating and relaxed service I have experienced.This was just perfect for my cousin's wedding. The location is utterly beautiful, the grounds in keeping with nature and the house understatedly grand with intriguing and fine decor. Kate and James Annakin’s wedding, 15th June. They surprised their guests with the band The Correspondents, who they had seen with their friends at Glastonbury. It was an amazing surprise for everyone and no one left the dance floor for the rest of the night.

Leave plenty of time and don’t leave things to the last minute. Get everything organised as soon as you can so you can enjoy the planning process and enjoy becoming an engaged to married couple!

The museum, as the ceiling is an amazing feature. People forget to go in here when the weather is great as there are so many unique spots in
our beautiful grounds.
The rustic hut by the lake looks lovely when it is lit up for a Twilight or Winter wedding

Our flexibility, each couple can build their own bespoke package element by element, we have so many different menu choices to choose from. Where possible we will always try to accommodate any special requests.

The service we offer- we are very personable. You are allocated your wedding organiser and host 6 months prior and they will be your point of contact and be there throughout your special day.
