Rookesbury Park is an exclusive-use country house wedding venue, offering the perfect blend of timeless elegance, beautiful Hampshire countryside and complete flexibility.

Family-owned and passionately run, our experienced team will be with you throughout your journey, from your first viewing to the moment you take to the dance floor. We believe no two weddings should ever be the same, so rather than offering restrictive packages, we work with you to create a celebration that reflects your own style, vision and budget.

Licensed for civil ceremonies, Rookesbury Park offers a choice of elegant ceremony and reception spaces within the historic 1824 house, together with our stunning west-facing Orangery overlooking the gardens.

The venue hire includes exclusive use of the house and grounds together with many of the essentials that other venues often charge extra for, including tables, Chiavari chairs, white linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware and experienced event staff. You'll also enjoy the Bridal Suite, 10 additional guest bedrooms (depending on your package), alongside dedicated wedding coordination.

Our fully licensed bar is managed in-house and can be operated as a prepaid bar, hosted drinks package or pay-as-you-go cash and card bar. Wines are supplied through our carefully selected wine partners, with corkage options available by prior arrangement.

Our venue hire fee gives you exclusive use of Rookesbury Park, allowing you to enjoy your own private country house for the duration of your celebration. The price shown covers the exclusive hire of the house, grounds and gardens, the Orangery, your ceremony and reception spaces, the Bridal Suite and 10 additional guest bedrooms (depending on the package selected). As a true blank canvas venue, we believe every couple should have the freedom to create a wedding that reflects their own personality, style and budget. Catering, drinks, bar services, venue styling, floristry, entertainment and other wedding suppliers are therefore arranged separately, giving you complete flexibility to create your perfect day. **Your venue hire includes:** * Exclusive use of Rookesbury Park, its grounds and gardens. * The Orangery for your wedding breakfast and evening celebration. * Four elegant historic reception rooms within the 1824 country house for your ceremony, drinks reception or guest lounge areas. * The Bridal Suite plus 10 additional guest bedrooms, with further accommodation available if required. * A dedicated Bridal Preparation Room, complete with a bottle of Prosecco, in our beautiful Old Master Bedroom. * Tables, Chiavari chairs, white table linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware and professional event staff. * Complimentary soft drinks during your drinks reception, including chilled water, elderflower and freshly squeezed orange juice. * A dedicated wedding coordinator to support you throughout your planning, including viewings, consultations and on-the-day coordination. * Fire lanterns to illuminate the driveway and create a magical evening arrival. * Teak garden furniture on the Orangery terrace for you and your guests to enjoy. * A complimentary wine tasting with our world-class Master of Wine to help you select the perfect wines for your wedding breakfast and toast. * The opportunity to return to Rookesbury Park after your wedding for your anniversary photos

As a blank canvas venue, your catering is tailored entirely to your celebration. Our wedding breakfast menus average £57 per person, with a wide range of options available. We are also able to offer relaxed sharing feasts and street food to elegant three-course dining and bespoke fine dining experiences. If you're making the most of your stay at Rookesbury Park, many couples choose to add additional catering for the evening before or later in the evening after the celebrations. Popular options include informal garden BBQs, hog roasts, grazing tables, wood-fired pizzas and other relaxed dining experiences, which can often be arranged from a lower price point. Whatever your style or budget, our experienced on site catering team will work with you to create a menu that perfectly complements your wedding and your guests.

The best venue by far! The best venue by far!
What an amazing venue. It was fate that lead us here - from seeing a wedding fayre sign from Hampshire wedding network to then reading the reviews we had to enquire….what drew us in was when someone said they knew from the moment they drove up the drive….! Etta replied to our enquiry almost 18 months ago and we went for a visit, we were greeted on our first visit by Etta, she was so proud and passionate to show us around and nothing was ever too much trouble, every single team member is so attentive, friendly and accommodating and they did not disappoint on our special day. The cosy and calm feel of the house, the open fires and the family vibe is just so unique and you can tell it’s so loved! We’ve visited in sun, rain and even snow and no matter the weather it’s always beautiful! The food on the wedding day was amazing as was the decor and the service and organisation was second to none! We love Rookesbury as do our family! Special mentions again to Etta, Heather, Kate, Mark, Daryl and the head chef and not to mention the lovely Andrea, from coordinating the day to helping with the wedding dress and more. Just simply perfect. We cannot thank you all enough and will be back for future events! If you are looking for a non conveyer belt family orientated tailored to you precisely wedding venue this is not a place to be missed!! We had our wedding at Rookesbury Park and it really was the best day of our lives. Rookesbury Park is absolutely beautiful and we will be forever grateful that we were able to have our wedding here. We cannot thank everyone enough who helped our day come together but a special thanks to Etta, she was there with us from the very beginning to the very end and she went above and beyond to make our day so special. She was incredibly accommodating and instrumental in ensuring the day went as smoothly as it did, we cannot thank her and the team enough and we were incredibly lucky to get married there. We had our wedding at Rookesbury Park and it really was the best day of our lives. Rookesbury Park is absolutely beautiful and we will be forever grateful that we were able to have our wedding here. A brilliant day! Etta and her team were magnificent, the rooms were so beautiful and decorated to perfection. The food was superb , complimented by lovely wine and boutique champagne. Beautiful venue, perfect wedding! Beautiful venue, perfect wedding!
This venue is absolutely stunning - a long dramatic driveway takes you to the front of the house on the top of a slight hill with views of fields & trees (with an incredible sunset if you are lucky like us!). There are many different functions rooms to use - we used the entrance hall for our ceremony, which was beautiful. The grounds are stunning with an old veranda around the back of the house. What an amazing day me my wife ,family and friends had at this stunning venue,the grounds the views amazing ,from start to finish the whole family and staff realy did make it a wonderful day ,any questions I had any extra random ideas we had for our day Rooksbury we’re always keen to listen and make things work , Money well spent here guys ,would plan again tomorrow for next year ,What an amazing day me my wife ,family and friends had at this stunning venue,the grounds the views amazing ,from start to finish the whole family and staff realy did make it a wonderful day ,any questions I had any extra random ideas we had for our day Rooksbury we’re always keen to listen and make things work , Money well spent here guys ,would plan again tomorrow for next year ,

Wonderful magical wedding day at Rookesbury park. Etta and her staff couldn't have been more accommodating. They catered for our every need and wete kind and helpful. Moving through the impressive entrance hall and rooms to the beautiful grounds where we enjoyed reception drinks. Then enjoying a delicious meal and flowing wine in the stunning orangery where the sun came down and we danced to a great band into the night. A day we will always remember.Wonderful magical wedding day at Rookesbury park. Etta and her staff couldn't have been more accommodating. They catered for our every need and wete kind and helpful. Everybody was so helpful, they made the whole day so easy & all the staff are an absolutely credit to Rookesbury. Our photographer has taken some stunning shots of Rookesbury, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer venue or staff. I honestly cannot recommend the staff enough, from the kitchen staff, groundsmen, to the man I kept bothering while he was trying to wash up, everyone just wanted us to have a nice time! Everybody was so helpful, they made the whole day so easy & all the staff are an absolutely credit to Rookesbury. Our photographer has taken some stunning shots of Rookesbury, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer venue or staff.
