- CCharlie18/10/2023Wedding BreakfastWedding BreakfastFirst of all I'd like to say from the bottom of our hearts thank you to Karen Davis. Having less than 2 weeks to sort everything for 25 guests. This lady went above and beyond to make our day special. As did all the other staff who helped on the day, so thank you to them to. The room was perfect we had everything we asked for and honestly couldn't fault them in any way. The kindness, caring and politeness did not go unnoticed. This place was spotless. Nothing was too much trouble, even though we had to change the seating plan and number of guests. We felt we had exactly the day we wanted, she really puts the effort in and it shows. Everyone loved the food (Peony menu) and the views are of course incredible!We had our wedding here at the end of June. Karen was great, arranging everything just as we wanted and keeping us calm! - JJulie & Matt18/10/2023Wedding Day made even more special.Wedding Day made even more special.On the 12th of August 2023 we were lucky to have our wedding day hosted at The Rising Sun from service to wedding breakfast to evening party topped with the bridal suite overnight and breakfast in the morning. We couldn't fault it from start to finish. The venue was beautiful and so well presented for our big day. The staff were exceptional always ready with a smile to help. This has been reflected in the comments of many of our guests too. Karen the wedding coordinator was incredible, kept us calm, gave us exactly the day we wanted, and helped us do it "our way".
