The wedding of DREAMS ✨

Looking for a spectacular, unique venue with exceptional customer service? Look no further than Port Lympne! It's hard to find a better wedding venue. From the staff to the views, the facilities to the accommodation, and the food to the animals, everything is outstanding. Every member of staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and to provide unforgettable experiences. Words like "unbelievable," "breathtaking," and "stunning" were frequently used by our guests, many of whom claimed it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Special shout-outs go to… Ceyda: Thank you for being our incredible wedding coordinator. Your responsiveness to countless emails and your dedication to making our big day exactly what we dreamed of were remarkable. Thank you for altering our function sheet so many times without question and for holding my drinks and fluffing my dress when needed! Charlotte: Your calming presence and willingness to accommodate every request were invaluable. Thank you for keeping me calm in the morning and for your excellent communication throughout the day, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. Our glorious toastmasters, Jonathan and Nikki: WOW, what a duo! Thank you for ensuring our day ran smoothly and for guiding our guests flawlessly. We (and our guests) loved both of your outfits, especially the park ranger uniforms. Harry: Thank you for rescuing me and my bridesmaids when we locked ourselves out of Rhino Lodge. Wedding breakfast serving staff: Your prompt, well-coordinated, and faultless delivery of our food was exceptional. The chefs: Thank you for producing a mouthwatering three-course meal that was beautifully presented. Our guests couldn't believe the high standard of food and that all main courses were served hot. Thank you also for accommodating special requests and dietary requirements. Evening bar staff: Your constant smiles and enthusiasm, especially joining in with the Macarena, added so much fun to our celebration. Hotel staff: Thank you for assisting our overnight guests with check-in and ensuring their bags were taken to their rooms, allowing them to celebrate without interruption. Our wedding at Port Lympne was a dream come true, thanks to the incredible team and the breathtaking venue. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly magical wedding experience.

A dream come true!

Since a little girl, I have always dreamt of having my wedding day at Port Lympne, so no other venue was ever going to come close. When we went to view Port Lympne, I knew instantly that the Pagola and Orangery had to be where the wedding took place and with the exceptional help from Annie and Ceyda, the whole journey was made easy. They kept us informed from start to finish and provided the best advise. The day before the wedding, we were welcomed and made to feel like their priority (even though they would have been busy with other work) which made the evening more relaxing. The day of, again we were made to feel the same and I loved that they checked in every now and then whilst getting ready. The breakfast hampers were incredible too! Even though the team were around a lot, they done well to also fade into the background. Our day was just truly magical and our guests expressed how blown away they were from the detail that was put into the venue areas. Whilst going for our formal photos, people who were there for the reverse, kept their distance to make sure they didn’t get in the way, yet congratulating us along the way. I truly felt like a princess! The three course meal was just phenomenal and the drinks just kept on flowing, a win from the guests! We then went on the Safari which again, added to making the day magical and the guests were having a whale of a time. As it was a hot day, the Safari was a great way to cool down and take a moment to reflect on the days events so far. I would recommend guests bringing something to cover their shoulders if they feel the cold more than others, but as the day was warm, we didn’t have this issue. The reception, again, just amazing. Outside games were provided which was a huge hit and the sun setting on the Orangery looked stunning. When it was time to admit the day was over, the manager who was looking after the night, was so lovely and had a good old chat with my Husband reflecting on military life, and was kind to buggy us back up to the Hotel. The Bridal suite is a lovely room, however the green bathroom was not to our taste… it’s clearly the original bathroom. The next morning, the team were ever so helpful with gathering our belongings from the night before, even though a wedding was about to take place and the breakfast was lovely too. It was sad to leave and say goodbye to the team as 18 months of planning, was gone in a blink of an eye. We would relive our special day over and over again if we could and all thanks to the team at Port Lympne. You will not regret choosing Port Lympne, and quite honestly worth every single penny.

The most amazing venue

We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding. The venue is amazing, all of our guests absolutely loved it and we had the best day. The events team are wonderful and nothing was too much hassle, a special shout-out to Ceyda, Olivia and Annie. The catering team and chefs are also amazing from the service at the wedding breakfast to the amazing food. If you are looking for a unique venue with amazing staff look no further.

A fantastic wedding day

Port Lympne events team were fantastic, from start to finish. Great organisation ahead of the wedding meant we could just relax and enjoy the day, and it went smoothly without a hitch. The food was excellent, and the chef allowed us to add a personal favourite to the menu - sticky toffee pudding! The team were extremely accommodating throughout, friendly and helpful. The house is a stunning setting made so special by the sea views and the incredible safari sunset. If you care for animals, it’s a

Beautiful venue with a twist

Our October wedding at Port Lympne was stunning - we had our ceremony in the Pergola followed by a reception in The Orangery, and the day ran smoothly. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the venue itself is beautiful with very little additional decorations needed, the safari was a huge talking point and we've been told repeatedly that the food was the best anyone had at a wedding all year. We'd definitely recommend booking your wedding here, you won't regret it.

Unique Venue

We were married at Port Lympne on the August bank holiday 2023 and would thoroughly recommend the venue. The Port Lympne team were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout. No question or detail was too much for Stephanie and Annie, who provided an excellent standard of service; they were straightforward to deal with and any concerns or queries were dealt with swiftly. The wedding day itself ran smoothly and was truly memorable for both us and our guests.

Thank you

Hi Annie & Team, Port Lympne is a truly amazing place to get married and we had an absolutely fabulous day celebrating with our friends and family. The venues are stunningly beautiful and so unique, and the team will help you put together the most special day. It's safe to say we never initially envisaged having a safari experience on our wedding day, but after our wedding at Port Lympne, we could not imagine the day without it

The venue is insanely beautiful

We wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for everything you have done for us in the last 2 years. Planning this wedding during covid hasn’t been the easiest and you have been so incredibly accommodating and kept us relaxed and smiling through it all! I remember when we made the difficult decision to postpone a year and I couldn’t believe how easy you made that for us by rescheduling all the suppliers so seamlessly over to our new date. Nothing was too big of an ask; from our late night meetings / meal tastings to everything running like clockwork on the big day (including last minute sea bass tasting, calming me down about the weather, grabbing my umbrella, and even covering for me when I was late to the ceremony!) We feel truly privileged to be the first marriage in the pergola and the last in the garden room. Seeing all the mock ups come to life made the whole experience really exciting for us and we are grateful to have been kept involved in the transformation. The venue is insanely beautiful and everything about the day was a dream come true for us. Thank you so much for helping us make it happen! We will certainly be back soon - we are hoping to come every year to celebrate our anniversary :) Our photographer Ross Hurley has been tagging you in his Instagram posts however please let us know if you would like us to send any photos over that we have of the venue to date (with Ross’ copyright of course) All the best with the upcoming weddings in the new venue and hopefully we can catch up again in the future :) Very best wishes Sarah & Chris
