Perfect for elegant and intimate Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions, Parade House can be exclusively yours for up to 54 guests, so you can make it your own for the day. Situated in the historic centre of the County town of Wiltshire, Parade house is close to Bath and enjoys excellent transport links to London.
Built in 1720 for a wealthy clothier, Parade House has recently been restored to its former glory with a selection of beautifully furnished fine rooms over two floors, each one fully licensed for Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships.
You have the option of booking a Marriage Ceremony only in one of our fine rooms, or the entire house for the full Wedding Reception.
The delicate blue Bridgerton style Drawing Room with its gilded overmantel and finely carved coving and the atmospheric wood panelled Directors' Room with intricate ceiling and marble fireplace are lovely settings for both Wedding Ceremonies and Champagne Receptions.
Then sweep up the grand Georgian staircase to the elegant first floor Ballroom to enjoy a delicious Wedding Breakfast, speeches and cake cutting.
If you'd like to continue your celebrations into the evening, our new stylish Ushers Bar and Cinema in the historic vaults are available for after dinner relaxation.
For your departure, we can arrange a spectacular wedding coach and horses to collect you in style, or a beautiful vintage car to whisk you away.
We operate on a semi-dry hire basis, and have a selection of hand-picked preferred suppliers including event stylists, florists, caterers, photographers, musicians, calligraphers and wedding cake designers ~ all of whom will work tirelessly to transform Parade House so that your Wedding Day is just as you imagined it. Our in house wedding planner will help you design your perfect wedding and ensure you enjoy every moment of your big day.

The sympathetic restoration of Parade House has given us a building that has retained all its character.... but is now a versatile and welcoming venue for the 21st century right here in the centre of town. They had laid out displays of local interest, dressed the rooms for the period, and even had a tribute to HM the Queen who had just sadly passed away. The owners were chatty and friendly and welcomed everyone into their own private house, and I'm sure the house will look better and better as and when they have the time and funds to restore it all. The owners are a lot of fun with a great appreciation of the local scene. I recently visited Parade House which hosted the Chamber Of Commerce Christmas party and enjoyed it very much.
