Whimsical and charming, this cheerful design-led boutique hotel in Chester inhabits a gorgeous Georgian townhouse right in the heart of the city. Only moments away from the river, this venue boasts gorgeous urban views and picturesque backdrops. Since its restoration to its former glory, the hotel now boasts modern amenities whilst maintaining its classic heritage..
Facilities and Capacity
Oddfellows is the perfect place to host the wedding of your dreams. Cutting-edge style mingles with inimitable sophistication in this space, providing you with a gorgeous setting. You'll have the entire gorgeous expanse of the first floor at Oddfellows exclusively, where you can celebrate surrounded by only your nearest and dearest. The venue can cater for civil ceremonies and private dining for up to 60 guests, with an evening party capacity of up to 130.

They will be with you every step of the way, ensuring to bring your vision to life in this gorgeous space. They understand that every couple's story is unique and promise to make the most important day of your life as individual as you are. Their in-house catering is a true treat for the stomach and the eyes, from glorious wedding breakfasts to delightful afternoon teas. You'll work with their chefs to design a bespoke menu, adding a personal touch to the feast.

We stayed over the night before and the rooms were gorgeous, a great place to get ready in! Everything was so well organised. The bar and waiting staff were exceptional and the food far exceeded our expectations. Our dog was even allowed into the ceremony room for a short while to be our ring bearer and have some picture! The day was truly wonderful and we can’t thank everyone at Oddfellows Stunning venue for our wedding and Rebecca and team went above and beyond to make the experience magical! We stayed over the night before and the rooms were gorgeous, a great place to get ready in! Everything was so well organised. On the day we had amazing staff looking after us and everything went off without a hitch, the venue looked fantastic and we thought it was great value for the quality of the rooms, hotel and what is included, the food was delicious too.We loved our wedding at Oddfellows, we felt really supported during the planning of the day and they were so flexible around what we wanted. They were more than happy to cater to our needs, ensuring that we had a vegan wedding breakfast that was truly delicious! On the day of our wedding, the staff could not do enough! They did absolutely everything possible to make sure our day ran smoothly and perfectly. They helped us to feel so at ease when the wedding nerves were getting the best of us. Oddfellows could not have been more acomodating from start to finish. They made the room look amazing, no request was too much trouble. They came back to us so quickly which made planning enjoyable rather than stressful. Every single person that came to the wedding has commented on how lovely it was, the facilities were great and the food was outstanding. Big shout out to all the staff, who were so lovely before the ceremony and on the day and really made those staying over feel welcome (including my elderly grandparents)We decided back in November to have a smaller wedding in January with 32 people. As soon as we stepped in we knew that Oddfellows was the place we wanted to get married in. We didn't want the traditional venue and that's exactly what we got, the best party surrounded by family and friends. The food was amazing, the staff very friendly and attentive...just perfect. Then on the day I felt like everyone working on the private dining room was fully briefed and very attentive. We could not have asked for better service. The room was decorated in such a nice way, which set the tone. There was a table of wine ready for when we arrived as requested, and you provided us with a sound system that I had asked for. It was excellent. I would not hesitate to work with you again, and I would recommend Odd Fellows to anyone thinking of hosting a party. From the initial booking up until the day itself, Oana and Rebecca were both fantastic and nothing was ever too much. We've been told by many of our guests that our drinks reception was the best they've ever been to, everyone was up dancing and having an absolute ball which is exactly what we wanted. The food was amazing and there was plenty of variety for us to choose from during our menu tasting which was a lovely addition to the wedding package. Overall, we just want to thank Oddfellows for creating such a special day for us and helping us make memories which will last a lifetime. For anyone who wants a less traditional venue and something unique, Oddfellows is definitely the venue for you!We can't thank Oddfellows Chester enough for hosting the most amazing wedding day for us and our guests. Firstly, the rooms you hire offer two different things. The bar area has lots of seating and an open and relaxed feel, with lots of space for a band, dancing, tables for cake, card things, etc, and an outdoor terrance for smokers or to cool down after dancing all night. The other room has more of a traditional wedding type feel with a dance floor, set out tables and chairs to eat and, etc. We also utilised large landing space to serve the food, but more importantly had a large sofa and TV so people could watch the Rugby World Cup!! With these three different areas all offering something different, there was something for everyone and if you wanted to chill, chat or dance it gave the option for all. When planning the wedding the events team at Oddfellows were honestly amazing. Everything was thought of before hand, with a high level of communication at all times. Also on the night the team working were brilliant and the guests commented how great they were. The space is safe for children and no one who wasn’t part of the wedding wondered in, which I have seen happen at weddings in other locations that have public bars in.
