Norton Priory Museum and Gardens

We got married here in July 2024 and Rebecca and the team couldn't be more accomodating. From helping us pick suppliers that know the venue well, to helping us setup and ensure our special day went smoothly we couldn't be happier with it. We had an amazing day and a lot of that credit goes to Rebecca for all the help and support she gave us.

From the moment we met Rebecca we knew our wedding was in safe hands! And Norton Priory - what a stunning venue! It sells itself really and Rebecca is worth her weight in gold, and more! Bride here - I was relatively calm during planning, but whenever I did have questions, Rebecca was more than happy to help! She was so kind, open, friendly and informative and kept me grounded throughout the process! She recommended everyone we used, Rick Dell Photography, The Distillery Box for the bar, The Travelling Pig for our hog roast and buffet, and everyone works together in perfect harmony! We also used Neil Howard of Garden Parties and Events as our DJ and everyone had an amazing time! A stunning venue, with so much space to venture, and lots of perfect photo opportunities, all for a really reasonable price. Thank you so so much for everything. Emma and Mike Davies x

We loved having our wedding at Norton Priory, the location is just beautiful, the staff so welcoming & knowledgeable, truly a day to remember & I couldn’t recommend them highly enough

The whole process from start to finish was made easy, Rebecca covered absolutely everything and made sure everything was in place and just how we wanted it, suggesting things we had not thought of as well, she really was incredible and helped make our day what it was, so we could just get as emotional as we did knowing everything was in hand, venue was amazing and everyone there mentioned how fantastic it was, had so many comments on how great the wedding, the place, the food, the bar, the dj, everything including Rebecca was truly exceptional, nearly every guest there mentioned how attentive Rebecca was, quote of the day, "I've never been to a wedding that was so rewarding" thanks to everyone that helped at Norton Priory that day and Rebecca, you were a star.

We could not have asked for a better day. Our guests and we were amazed at the venue. The dancefloor in the undercroft was a highlight! Rebecca, Heather and the rest of the team had everything setup perfectly and the day went without a hitch. We highly recommend Norton Priory for your wedding or any other occasion.

We met with Rebecca our wedding coordinator several times before the big day! She was present on the day itself ensuring me and my husband had everything we needed and ensured it all ran smoothly. The new music system worked a treat and allowed us to have all of the songs we wanted. The children that attended the wedding had alot of space in the museum and grounds to play. The photography was amazing because of the beautiful grounds and history of the building and gardens. Overall an amazing time was had by all with many guests exclaiming they will be returning for a visit themselves!

Ref: Wedding ceremony and reception. I thank Norton Priory and it's staff enough for all they did for us on our wedding day. Rebecca did our initial meet up when we were looking and she was so informative about the venue. It was the perfect match for a lover of history and a lover of fantasy. The venue's 12th century architecture was perfect and gained many compliments from our guests. The grounds were a beautiful backdrop for our photos and despite the cold November day the trees still green, and leaves made for great photos. Rebecca managed the day from start to finish and her attention to details was perfect. She listened to every idea I had and made suggestions based on the venues previous weddings and I truly felt like she helped me build the perfect day for myself and my husband. Her communication was impeccable, when she wasn't replying straight away, it was still in the same day or on her holiday! The venue also supports you having your dog attend the wedding with you, this was high on our list as he is a very important part of our family. Again Rebecca and the team supported us in including him in the ceremony and photographs. The running of the day and night was so smooth as all the suppliers were dealt with by Rebecca. They also have a small brewery, making their own ales that we used as part of our welcome drinks at the event. We had a wonderful wedding and have reccomended the venue multiple times since our wedding. Thankyou so much! Mr and Mrs Wolff and little Gus :)
