With more than 35 years’ experience as a high quality, professional wedding venue, we have helped countless loving couples say, ‘I do’, offering a truly unique experience and helping them plan every minute of their big day, right down to the smallest of details.
We are the complete wedding venue in Plymouth, licensed to hold civil ceremonies, where you can tie the knot in our beautiful surroundings then begin your celebrations immediately.
Nearby Plymouth Hoe and Devonport Park also make fabulous backdrops for those all-important wedding photos and with 99 rooms, there’s plenty of space to look after guests at the end of a perfect day.
What makes the New Continental wedding service special is that we can tailor a perfect package to exactly match your individual requirements.
From a low key, private celebration for just your family and a few close friends to a lavish party for up to 250 guests, however you want to mark this momentous occasion we can make it happen.
Choose from our flexible, competitively priced wedding packages, but remember if there is something you particularly want to request, we will do everything we can to make it come true.

After 2 years in the planning, Clare and the team have surpassed all expectations. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were Happy and Helpful. The food was exceptional, our Wedding Breakfast was Superb. The Hotel is very well presented, clean, plenty of secure parking on site. My Wife and I would highly recommend The New Continental Hotel as the No: 1 Wedding venue in the South West.We have just spent a fantastic weekend at the New Continental for our Wedding. The staff, the food, the service and of course, that ballroom!
