The manor house is exclusively available for your wedding day, With access to the house, both the day before and the day after your wedding, you will have a stress-free experience. The team at this venue want you to feel relaxed and enjoy each moment, offering:
Ceremonies
Choose from getting married in the main hall, with capacity for up to 100 guests, which features an elegant staircase, and a guaranteed spectacular entrance under a large glass skylight. Alternatively, the gardens offer an enchanting experience for an outdoor ceremony for up to 150 guests. There is an impressive staircase leading down to the ceremony lawn, which sits alongside a series of rock pools, Japanese stone bridge and lake. The beautiful reception rooms are also licensed for ceremonies of up to 150 guests.
Receptions
Drinks receptions can take place on the front lawn or in the elegant hall. The reception rooms, adorned with marble fireplaces and chandeliers, create an elegant space for your wedding breakfast and the hall and boutique bar offer an incredible party atmosphere. The reception rooms can accommodate 100 for a sit-down meal, with up to 175 guests in the evening, or the front lawn is perfect for marquee receptions for larger weddings.
Catering and Drinks
This is all prepared by the fabulous exclusive caterers Scott Anderson Ltd. Using only the finest ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible, this team create imaginatively presented and delicious tasting food that is beautifully served.
Accommodation
This beautiful venue includes rooms and breakfast for up to 22 guests for the night before and night of your wedding day. There is never a wedding the day before or after yours, allowing you time and space to enjoy your celebrations.

A dedicated wedding co-ordinator will help to ensure the day goes exactly as you've planned it. A list of trusted wedding suppliers can be provided to help you plan your perfect day. The venue is pet friendly.

Ceremony only venue hire is from £2,000. Our full venue hire price from £8000 to £8,500 includes a ceremony and reception with access the day before and day after the wedding day, and accommodation for 2 nights with breakfast for up to 22 guests including the wedding couple.

From booking our wedding with Lucy, and arranging visits during the ease of lockdown measures, right up to the morning after the big day; Mount Ephraim was the perfect venue for our wedding and Lucy and the team were amazing. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the grounds & house are, as well as the incredible food supplied by Scott Anderson Catering. Lucy made arranging the fine details of our day so easy and stress-free. She really made us feel at home and looked after, in order to have the most perfect day. Surrounded by our loved ones and friends, our wedding was everything we wanted it to be and more. Our first dance in the reception room by the stairs was a moment we will never forget - surrounded by our loved ones, singing & dancing together. It truly is a wonderful atmosphere in the main house and the gardens during the summer evening was beautiful. From a very family orientated background, Mount Ephraim and all of its staff feel like (and some are!) one huge family. The bedrooms are beautiful and the bridal party loved their stay on the night of our wedding - even getting a glimpse of the Classic Car Show out on the front lawns the next morning - what a treat! Breakfast in the Tea Rooms was superb and the team were incredible at catering for our guests with allergens and the younger guests (Thank you Sophie & Elliot!). The venue were so supportive and we were able to have sparklers at the end of the night & our live band fit in perfectly by the dance floor. Us and our guests were welcomed with drinks and canapés on our arrival from the church and were given time to relax and mingle how we wished. Some chose to sit and chat whilst others had a wonder around the grounds, I wanted this feeling of freedom for us and our guests and the gardens were perfect for that. We also used this opportunity to have some photos taken including a group one of all the guests on the stairs at the tennis courts which we will treasure. Our wedding breakfast was absolutely 5* and everyone commented on how delicious the food was and how attentive the staff were. We were given time and space to say thank you to our guests and do our speeches. Nothing felt rushed or on a strict to d schedule which is something we really wanted. Some of us stayed the night at the accommodation which was spotless, high spec and felt luxurious which is definitely something you want to feel on your wedding day. The gardens are stunning and were perfect for wedding photos, the views all around are breathtaking and you get a feel of being somewhere really special. We had so many comments on how lovely our wedding day was and I was so pleased everyone enjoyed themselves. The day was smooth and relaxed exactly as we wanted. Lucy made sure of this, she was so helpful, welcoming and warm and made us feel as if nothing was too much. The perfect person to help you plan your wedding. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
All of our weddings are truly wonderful and each is unique to the couple, but for me, my own wedding was the best! I got married in the gardens back in 2005 and had a marquee reception on the front lawn for around 150 guests. It was the most magical day and to get married at my family home surrounded by my friends and family was the icing on the cake - or the profiteroles actually as we didn't have a wedding cake!!
