Mount Ephraim Gardens

What an incredible venue! From booking our wedding with Lucy, and arranging visits during the ease of lockdown measures, right up to the morning after the big day; Mount Ephraim was the perfect venue for our wedding and Lucy and the team were amazing. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the grounds & house are, as well as the incredible food supplied by Scott Anderson Catering. Lucy made arranging the fine details of our day so easy and stress-free. She really made us feel at home and looked after, in order to have the most perfect day. Surrounded by our loved ones and friends, our wedding was everything we wanted it to be and more. Our first dance in the reception room by the stairs was a moment we will never forget - surrounded by our loved ones, singing & dancing together. It truly is a wonderful atmosphere in the main house and the gardens during the summer evening was beautiful. From a very family orientated background, Mount Ephraim and all of its staff feel like (and some are!) one huge family. The bedrooms are beautiful and the bridal party loved their stay on the night of our wedding - even getting a glimpse of the Classic Car Show out on the front lawns the next morning - what a treat! Breakfast in the Tea Rooms was superb and the team were incredible at catering for our guests with allergens and the younger guests (Thank you Sophie & Elliot!). The venue were so supportive and we were able to have sparklers at the end of the night & our live band fit in perfectly by the dance floor. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much to all the staff at Mount Ephraim for giving us a magical wedding- we look forward to coming back to visit on our anniversary in the future!

We got married at Mount Ephraim in July 23, and it was truly everything we could have hoped for - and more! Mount Ephraim is a really special place, and Lucy guided us through the whole process of booking our big day seamlessly. The venue itself is beautiful, with plenty of accommodation and set up options. We used the caterers that came with the venue - who again we couldn’t fault and even a couple of the recommended suppliers who were also brilliant. Honestly couldn’t recommend a more special place to host a wedding. Thank you to Lucy & everyone at Mount Ephraim - we have the best memories of our day.

We had our wedding reception at Mount Ephraim in June 2023 and the whole day was perfect. Us and our guests were welcomed with drinks and canapés on our arrival from the church and were given time to relax and mingle how we wished. Some chose to sit and chat whilst others had a wonder around the grounds, I wanted this feeling of freedom for us and our guests and the gardens were perfect for that. We also used this opportunity to have some photos taken including a group one of all the guests on the stairs at the tennis courts which we will treasure. Our wedding breakfast was absolutely 5* and everyone commented on how delicious the food was and how attentive the staff were. We were given time and space to say thank you to our guests and do our speeches. Nothing felt rushed or on a strict to d schedule which is something we really wanted. Some of us stayed the night at the accommodation which was spotless, high spec and felt luxurious which is definitely something you want to feel on your wedding day. The gardens are stunning and were perfect for wedding photos, the views all around are breathtaking and you get a feel of being somewhere really special. We had so many comments on how lovely our wedding day was and I was so pleased everyone enjoyed themselves. The day was smooth and relaxed exactly as we wanted. Lucy made sure of this, she was so helpful, welcoming and warm and made us feel as if nothing was too much. The perfect person to help you plan your wedding. I only wish we could do it all over again! Luckily you can go and visit Mount Ephraim gardens to reminisce which is a bonus!

Thank you for everything and for your kindness throughout the whole 2 years of planning and letting us use your family home. It was such a wonderful day and everyone said how beautiful the venue was. And dance floor was still big enough to do all the Greek dancing! We will be back for our anniversary next year.

I would like to thank you immensely for the very happy wedding that we had on Saturday. Your guidance, caring and professional help was amazing. The venue was absolutely beautiful and the catering staff were so efficient. Lovely young people. All the guests have said that it was the best wedding ever attended and the most beautiful venue too.

I do not have enough good things to say about Mount Ephraim as a venue and Lucy as our wedding coordinator. The grounds and interiors were stunning, and it was really special having the whole wedding party staying with us before and after the big day. The B&B catering was also very warmly received by all our guests. From start to finish, Lucy made us feel like everything was under control, expertly managing logistics while still maintaining a personal touch and a warm smile.

Thank you so much! Everyone we encountered was absolutely fantastic! We felt so well looked after but also free to roam and sort things out at our own pace. The house is phenomenal as well and we had so many nice comments about our choice of venue.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for letting us have our wedding at your incredible venue. Everything went way beyond our expectations and every single member of the staff was amazing with us and our guests. We thought the gardens were absolutely gorgeous – very much delighted our photographer Liam who was like a kid at Christmas – and really, we couldn’t have dreamed of a better setting.

We can not recommend this venue enough! We had the best wedding and the venue is just simply stunning. The staff here are fabulous! The venue was very accommodating of our wants and needs before the wedding and always had an open dialogue form the start. Lucy was just fantastic and so was the accommodation. She truly went above and beyond, drying off our bouncy castle with towels so that we could use it for an hour (really not her job), allowing us to decorate the day before the wedding. Sadly, we had a rainy wedding but you really wouldn’t have know. The grounds make this venue but it’s just as fabulous in the rain if not more so. Lucy was there from the morning of our wedding until it had finished. The guests were blown away with what an amazing venue it was! If we could hire it every day for our wedding we would. The best wedding venue! Lucy our wedding coordinator was fantastic the day went off without a hitch (we were so chill throughout the day it was great) The venue itself is stunning, you can get married inside or outside (both places are beautiful). Plenty of places for romantic photo opportunities. The best part is that we can come back and visit the gardens during the summer, which can’t do with a lot of wedding venues!
