Thank you so much for all your help and support with our event. Yesterday was brilliant, Lucy and her team were brilliant onsite throughout the day, helping and supporting us. Stacey, Howard, Jason, David, Mirian and Sue plus all of the other team members truly went above and beyond in making sure that our wedding day was truly magical and something we will treasure forever. Nothing was too much trouble and the friendliness we experienced throughout our wedding weekend was impeccable. The Mercure hotel group should be rightly proud to have such an amazing retinue of professional and genuine staff memers. Thank you all x

Fabulous stay whilst attending a family wedding hosted at the Mercure. Everything was perfectly executed. All the staff including the housekeeping staff were polite, happy and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious too.

We had a fantastic day, the weather was beautiful and everyone enjoyed our day. The venue The Mercure Chester was outstanding. From our event organiser Stacey to Howard and the team who were very attentive and nothing was too much. The venue room was amazing and the canapes and buffet were excellent. The gardens are beautiful and ideal for photographs. We had the most wonderful day. Thank you to everyone

Me and my now Husband had our wedding reception at the Mercure Chester Abbots Well Hotel and my goodness what an amazing night it was!! From the moment we met Stacey everything just flowed and fit into place and our special night was planned!! Stacey went above and beyond for us and we honestly couldn’t have felt more looked after throughout the whole process of planning our wedding reception! I booked the bridal suite for the night before the wedding to get ready in the following day and it was perfect, they even put a little extra bed in for us for my daughter as I had her staying with me the night before, it was nothing other than perfection! Nothing went wrong at all, it was such an easy relaxed evening! I must say the staff at the hotel are amazing! Shoutout to Howard our day of coordinator, he and Stacey made sure our vision came to life on the big day! Giving us updates on what was going where, we got given a room layout plan of the tables and set up of the room, nothing but perfection!!! The Hotel really did go above and beyond for us!! Our reception was supposed to finish at 11:30pm but we ended up staying out in the gardens drinking and chatting with our friends and family until 12:30am (oopsies!!) we did get a gentle reminder that they needed to lock the garden doors so we had to scoot unfortunately haha! but the night didn’t stop there! We ended up chatting in the bar for a while before finally heading to our room as Husband and Wife at 2am! We were able to keep any diy we had brought with us in the reception room until the following day which was handy for us as we were already stumbling around at 2am just getting to the room haha! Overall it was the most perfect reception we could have hoped for! The communication between myself and Stacey and the hotel staff was fantastic and not a hair was out of place! Thank you to everyone who works their butts off at the hotel, it really does show!!

Amazing stay lovely and friendly staff especially Susan who checked us in was very helpful and welcoming. We were there for a wedding would definitely recommend as a venue Howard was in charge of the day which was run to perfection. Massive complements to the chef jimmy The food was out of this world. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend for anyone hosting a social event

Just experienced a fantastic weekend at Abbots Well Hotel celebrating our daughters wedding. The whole day was overseen by Howard who did an excellent job. All the staff were very helpful especially Susan on reception. Also a big thank you to Jimmy the chef for preparing some top quality food.

We stayed at Mercure April 20th when we attended a family wedding. From the minute we arrived we were greeted by the friendliest lady who took time to talk to us whilst checking us in. We found our room very easily and were very pleased upon entry it was clean and spacious. The actual wedding was amazing all the staff we encounter were extremely helpful and attentive nothing seemed to much trouble and everyone had a smile even at the end of the evening.

Attended an event at the hotel. The phone booking service was great, much like the lovely welcome on arrival. Our room was comfortable and clean. The event was great, well run and a fabulous venue. To finish it all off, breakfast was the perfect cure to the previous night's festivities.
