- JJenna & Jaymie26/10/2025Fantastic venue but the day was the success it was due to staff and suppliersFantastic venue but the day was the success it was due to staff and suppliersThis is an amazing wedding venue, but we wanted to dedicate this review especially to Kiki, the wedding coordinator - without her our wedding wouldn't have been the success it was. Kiki worked so hard to make our day special and it really did show, we will be forever grateful for all of her efforts. Working with the venue wasn't always smooth - particularly with room bookings - but Kiki, made the process extremely pleasant throughout, being responsive, showing genuine care and to investigate complex queries and issues, being pivotal to finding solutions. Leading up to and on the day, Kiki was so patient and understanding, supporting us in the set up and smooth running of the day in such a patient manner, handling all our questions and requests no matter how big of small. Kiki's kindness shined through in her work - she is an absolute rockstar and cannot thank her enough for how special she made us feel. We would also like to thank the recommended suppliers - - Ether events who dressed the venue so beautifully and supported us with such professionalism, attentiveness and genuine care. - Loretta for baking a beautiful and tasty cake, always supportive and pleasant throughout. - Michael, our fantastic toastmaster. The day wouldn't have ran so smoothly without him. - Paul, our Pianist - potentially the best decision we made about our wedding. Such a lovely man and played beautifully, even learning some specific requests at short notice. - Final mention to Mary who works in hospitality at Burford Bridge - you looked after us so wonderfully in the morning and during the dinner, with such care and good humour. You really made us smile and we felt so cared for! This is hands down a fantastic venue - the barn is a great space, especially if you want a country feel (although I do recommend dressing it up if you can) - the space is brilliant overall, particularly good if you want a venue where you have plenty of space inside in case it rains. The grounds are also beautiful. And the venue asy to get to for guests. The food is also amazing. However, the experience is made the success it is by Kiki and the people on the ground on the day, making the magic happen. From the moment we booked, our amazing wedding planner Kiki was by our side. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her—she went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The day before the wedding, she took the time to go through every detail with us, checking and double-checking everything, and making sure I was completely at ease. On the day itself, she messaged me first thing in the morning and continued to support us throughout—keeping the schedule on track, checking in with guests, and just being an absolute star. A special and thoughtful touch was when, after a very long day for her, she noticed I hadn't had a chance to eat and brought some food up to our room. It was incredibly kind and truly appreciated. We also want to thank Amelia, the food and business manager, who was fantastic throughout our stay. She made sure we were happy with everything, especially the food, and looked after us so well on the morning of the wedding—organising breakfast, drinks, and anything else we needed. She even found a separate room for the groom and ring bearers to get ready, which was such a help. In the evening, Shana took over and ensured the same high level of care and service continued. She handled everything so we could just relax and enjoy the evening. After the celebrations, she cleared and stored all of our belongings safely so we didn’t have to worry about a thing—we could just head to bed stress-free. A huge thank you also to Michael, our master of ceremonies, who kept everything running like clockwork. From the very beginning of planning, the team at Burford Bridge were so accommodating and welcoming – we knew straight away that it was the perfect venue for us. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. Our guests were blown away by the stunning Tithe Barn, and we were lucky to have wonderful weather on the day, which made the hotel's gardens the perfect setting for the afternoon, with the breathtaking Box Hill in the background. Every single member of staff on the day was fantastic – friendly, professional, and so attentive. We honestly couldn’t be happier with our choice of venue. But the true star of the show was the hotel’s wedding coordinator, Kiki. She is absolutely incredible at what she does. From start to finish, she was always on hand to answer our (many!) questions, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Not only is she brilliant at her job, but she’s also one of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet. Thanks so much to all the staff for the most amazing wedding! The team made it unforgettable as they were so hands on and helpful, giving us lots of extra support where needed - and plenty of special treatment as the Bride and Groom. Our wedding coordinator Kiki was so hands on and answered all of our questions, day or night. Nothing was too much trouble. She even got a tape measure out for us to measure the length of the aisle, and throughout the day I noticed she was there lifting my dress up for me when I needed help. She even squeezed in extra wedding guests in the day that turned up unexpectedly. She made us feel totally special. Kiki had lots of meetings with us when we requested them and she made sure everything was organised to my exacting standards. She was super friendly and reassuring too and went out of her way to help us when something didn't go quite right, like the music not working the day before - which she helped us fix. The catering team and bar staff were absolutely amazing! We had brilliant service on the day as well as at other points like breakfast the following day and dinner the night before. Adam at the bar was super friendly and we bonded over mutual interests. Mary, Lynda and Monika served us breakfast in the Garden room with all of our family and took all of our orders, even making things for us that were not in the menu. All of the food tasted amazing! The chef catered to our dietary requirements and changed one of the dishes to suit our needs. The food came out promptly at the wedding breakfast and everyone complimented it. Even the tables at the far back said the food came out quicky and tasted wonderful. The venue itself is stunning and the barn is a beautiful romantic setting for the wedding. Everything flowed so well on the day and the ceremony went perfectly. The getting ready room was super helpful for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in, making the whole morning way less stressful. The grounds are super for outdoor photos and we were so lucky to have great weather, although there is plenty of space indoors if it's raining. The day ran so smoothly and everything was more than what we could of dreamed of. The food was incredible and a massive shout out to Mani who was incredible the whole day . Nothing was too much trouble. I can’t put into words how lucky we feel to have had such lovely staff along side us on our special day.. the food was amazing and hotel rooms were lovely, cosy and everyone commented on how lovely they were. This truly is a magical venue and I can’t thank Kiki enough for helping us bring our visions to life.
