Both open onto the private Castle Courtyard—an idyllic spot for a drinks reception around the iconic clock tower.
The Castle Barn: Perfect for larger weddings, the Castle Barn offers a rustic yet elegant atmosphere. It comfortably hosts over 100 guests and includes a cozy seating area with an open log fire, a dance floor, a stage, and a fully licensed, staffed bar. Many couples start their day in the Coach House before moving to the Barn for dinner and evening celebrations.

As a photographer I see lots of amazing venues and Lissanoure does not disappoint. Outside you have the most stunning views, lakes, old trees and brickwork. Venture inside the castle to the log fires and old paintings for drinks hosted by amazing staff that make you feel like youre family. You will not be disappointed! Perfect weddingPerfect wedding
Lissanoure Castle was the perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding. From beginning to end, the help, advice, attention to detail and courtesy we received could not have been bettered. The castle and estate are truly beautiful and provide an ambience which cannot be created artificially. Open log fires and candle light , antique furniture and paintings all contributed to the atmosphere. Our guests were blown away by it all! Lissanoure Castle was the perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding. From beginning to end, the help, advice, attention to detail and courtesy we received could not have been bettered. The castle and estate are truly beautiful and provide an ambience which cannot be created artificially. Open log fires and candle light , antique furniture and paintings all contributed to the atmosphere. Our guests were blown away by it all!

From my first visit to Lissanoure Castle, I fell in love. The grounds are so well maintained, and make you feel as if you have walked straight into a postcard. The trees, the lake and the courtyard are wonderful (especially knowing that ours will be the only wedding on the day...so ourselves are our guests can enjoy this) The castle and the barn are bursting with character and history, and it is definitely such a unique special setting. Moira and the team have been so helpful From day1, giving advice when we need it, and helping to build the excitement as they get excited alongside us. The team are efficient at communicating, and are always very quick at answering our queries. We are so thrilled to be hosting our wedding reception at Lissanoure Castle next year, and are 100% confident that it is the most special, beautiful venue in northern Ireland.From my first visit to Lissanoure Castle, I fell in love. Amazing Autumnal Wedding! Amazing Autumnal Wedding!
We can honestly say that Lissanoure played a massive part in making our day so special! Even before our wedding day Moira and her team were always available for any questions and always accommodated any request to visit the venue. The setup was also perfectly organised by Lissanoure with external vendors and we were given allocated dates and time to add our own personal touches, which made everything so enjoyable! On the day of the wedding Lissanoure excelled themselves with their friendliness and help when it was required. It was amazing for ourselves and our guests to have the castle and the barn all to ourselves with the Lissanoure team operating in the background to ensure everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and our guests couldn't complement it enough! With the fires lit both in the Castle and the Barn it's such a warm and welcoming venue with a magical feel. The picturesque grounds make for beautiful photographs, our photographer was spoilt for choice with locations. We braved the November chill but couldn't be happier with the photo opportunities and we were glad to have the fires and mulled wine to warm us up on return. All in all we couldn't have of picked a better venue for our wedding! We had such an amazing day from start to finish and can't thank the Lissanoure team enough! The most Magical day! The most Magical day!
My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at Lissanoure Castle....... And what a venue!!! The service we received was outstanding and nothing was ever a problem (the 10,000 questions I had). From the very first visit we knew Lissanoure was the right venue for us. The setting alone is beautiful but I have to say it was how we where treated that really made our minds up. As a bride to be you want to feel that your wedding is important and from our very 1st visit this is how I felt. I can't recommend this venue enough, you have everything..... The castle fit for a princess, the barn (which is amazing) for all the dancing, the outstanding scenery and the FANTASTIC staff. If you are looking for something that little bit more special Lissanoure castle is definitely it. My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at Lissanoure Castle....... And what a venue!!! The scenery at lissanore is amazing, situated in the centre of a lake and sporting a rustic castle vibe. Our perfect spring wedding Our perfect spring wedding
We got married in March 2018 and had our reception in the barn. Prefect venue for that time of year as the grounds are so beautiful but still had the big roaring fires inside for when people needed to warm up. We LOVED Lissanoure Castle, such a quirky venue with the option to put your own stamp on it. The grounds are beautiful and allowed us to have gorgeous photos without having to stop off anywhere else. We loved everything about the venue and the staff were a great help in planning and executing our big day. We would highly recommend having your wedding day here! From the beginning Moira, Jane and the team were amazing. Everything was perfect and the entire process was smooth and organised,which calmed any pre-wedding nerves. Moira and the team at Lissanoure are exceptional. Nothing is too much or too difficult and they made our day so relaxing and special for us. We had our ceremony in the castle and our reception in the barn. Our guests on the day couldn’t get over how beautiful a venue it is. Lissanoure castle is stunning inside and out- it is a magical venue and we feel so blessed to have had our wedding there, and even more blessed that we found it! We wish we could do it all over again!!Moira and the team at Lissanoure are exceptional. Nothing is too much or too difficult and they made our day so relaxing and special for us. We had our wedding at Lissanoure Castle last Friday 17th August. We had arrival drinks in the castle and our reception in the barn. The day was amazing! The Lissanoure castle team are so lovely and helpful. Moira and Jane made the day so special for my husband and me, they went above and beyond. We want to do the day all over again.
