Hillmount House

We recently had our wedding at Hillmount House. From the moment we met Simon and Andrew, they made us feel so at ease, nothing was too much hassle for them (as well as their staff!!). The venue was also stunning, with all of our guests commenting how beautiful it was! Would highly recommend Hillmount to anybody looking for a venue for their wedding or event!!

We had the most amazing day at Hillmount for our wedding in August. From the first meeting, Andrew & Simon made us feel so welcome and took time to get to know us as a couple which meant a lot to us. They provided us with a perfect balance of listening to our hopes and visions for the day, as well as ensuring these were met to the finest detail. Seeing them also get excited about our ideas was brilliant and we had full trust in them throughout it all. Beautiful venue and a meticulous team! Couldn’t recommend Hillmount enough! Sophie & Josh

We had our wedding at Hillmount House, Larne, in September 2024. This was the first & only venue we viewed but upon viewing, we knew that Hillmount House was where we wanted our wedding to be; it was perfect. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with an exquisitely decorated Georgian house, courtyard area with nearby indoor lounge / bar area and spacious, modern barn for dining & dancing. The venue also possesses stunning views of the sea; we got a lovely sunny day for our wedding so we were able to have our ceremony outdoors and afterwards, guests were able to sit & enjoy their drinks at tables placed on the lawn overlooking these lovely views. Hillmount House is a credit to its owners, Simon & Andrew, who go above & beyond to ensure your wedding day is perfect. Thank you so much again to Simon & Andrew for making our day so special. We would have no hesitation in recommending Hillmount House as a wedding venue to anyone.

We had our wedding here in summer 2024 and we had a fantastic weekend! Andrew and Simon bring a very personalised touch to this special occasion and we cannot thank them enough! The most wonderful place!

We honestly could not recommend this venue enough. We had our wedding here in June and it was the most incredible day. The venue itself is gorgeous with so many different areas, and elements to this venue - from the lawn to the court yard, court house, fields and the barn. We got married on the lawn with sea views and it was simply stunning. we loved the personal touch of the venue and being able to stay with our family for the whole weekend. The house is gorgeous and you are made to feel so at home with breakfast cooked (10/10 food btw) each morning. we cannot thank Andrew and Simon enough. They are a pleasure to work with and made our whole experience stress free. Everything we needed they were happy to do and nothing was any trouble. We are so thankful to you guys for helping to make our day perfect, the build up completely stress free and allow us to completely relax on the day. You welcomed our family and were so kind and patient. Everyone at our wedding not only said how incredible the venue was but actually how lovely the staff were which I think says everything. Gemma was so so welcoming to our family as well and helped to look after my friends baby during the ceremony and was just incredible the whole weekend. Thank you all so so much! I had my heart set on my wedding day being at Hillmount House before I was even engaged. The day my husband and I met with Andrew & Simon to have a look around we just fell in love. Living local, I have never seen a more beautiful home with gardens and views of the coast that just created the perfect setting for us and what we had always hoped our day would be. To have had our wedding ceremony & drinks reception celebrated in a stunning cosy cottage feel home to then being able to move only a few steps into the newly built modern barn for our wedding breakfast and evening party which for me just brought the extra sparkle. Andrew and Simon you went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome and at home. The effort you made for us, our family and friends the whole weekend we can not thank you enough. You truely made our day one that we will never forget. I would also like to say a special thank you to Gemma who again looked after us so well but made my pre wedding nerves disappear with laughter and some bubbles and tied the most beautiful bow at the back of my dress. Andrew Simon and all the Hillmount team thank you so much you made our day the perfect day.

The first time we saw Hillmount House, we knew instantly that we wanted to get married there. The gorgeous grounds include a beautiful meadow filled with wild flowers and also has a beautiful outside wedding option that has sea views. We opted for our ceremony to be in the stunning barn, which also over looks the sea. The venue offers a beautiful contrast between new and old, with the edition of the New Barn. Which is where we had our reception! Simon, Andrew and their team were absolutely fantastic and made our day perfect! This was not a surprise to us, as in the two years working with them prior to our wedding, they were absolutely amazing - no request was too much and they left no stone unturned. We also want to thank Andrew and Simon for being so welcoming, and allowed us to stay in their beautiful home. From the breakfast they provided for us, the amazing decor and the homely atmosphere, everything was perfect! One of the most important criteria when picking a wedding venue for us, was for it to be dog friendly. Hillmount house not only welcomed our family and friend, but also our dog, Bramble

Hillmount House provided us with everything we dreamed about for our wedding and more. It provides the most beautiful venue and that personal touch which makes Hillmount stand out from the rest. We can’t thank Simon, Andrew and all the staff enough for a wonderful weekend and for being so attentive during the whole planning process. The attention to detail on the day was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the Hillmount team meaning that we could just relax and enjoy our wedding knowing that everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. Our guests absolutely loved Hillmount and haven’t stopped talking about the venue since the wedding. Anyone who chooses to have their wedding or event at Hillmount is in the very best hands.

We were one of the couples affected by covid...a couple of times. When we tried to put something together at reasonably short notice, Andrew and Simon came to the rescue. It is a wonderful venue that's operated by amazing people! Nothing was to much for them no matter what we asked. We can't thank them enough for their part in making the day so special. The most amazing memories were made which we have to treasure forever!
