The second we stepped into the beautiful surroundings of Breckenhill, we knew it was the venue for us. Beautiful barns, peaceful surroundings, and a freedom to make a day that reflected us as a couple made it impossible to even consider anywhere else. The owners were so flexible and accomodating, and communication was always efficient and professional, even during a pandemic. We received so much help in getting set up the day before, and then the owners and staff were nearby throughout our wedding day to help guests and suppliers. Everyone complimented what a beautiful venue it was, and how wonderful the service was. There's not a single day from our wedding day that we would change, and could not more highly praise or recommend Breckenhill.

An amazing venue which allows you to self decorate or bring in the help of local companies... David and Hen are amazing at what they do, from advice on layouts, providing lists of suppliers to being there on the day ensuring everything goes without a hitch... we used the upstairs of the stone barn for our reception with music downstairs and the wedding ceremony took place outside in the boxed garden. The weather couldn't have been any better the sun shone all day enabling us to get some fantastic photos with family and friends in the beautiful gardens. I would have no hesitation in recommending Breckenhill to anyone thinking of this type of wedding.

David and Henrietta are absolutely amazing and accomodating especially as we had to rearrange our wedding a number of times. Amazing venue and space provides some amazing opportunities for photographs. No request is not possible, even fireworks can be accommodated.

We got married in September 2019 and it was such a great day. Breckenhill was perfect for us as we wanted to put so much of our own personality into the decor, the food and drink and have the freedom to do that. The location was beautiful and Henrietta and David were so helpful on the day! So many people said how wonderful it was to have different areas to be in throughout the day. Guests loved the football table and the outdoor games. We used Root Soup as our caterer and people brought their own drinks. The bar staff were brilliant and so professional. If you want a wedding with character and something people will remember- this is a great venue for that.

We had our wedding reception at Breckenhill last Saturday and we cannot recommend them enough. Henrietta and David have been so helpful throughout the planning process. We live in England and they made planning from afar stress free. All emails were replied to very quickly! On the day, both Henrietta and David were very calm and had everything under control. Guests loved the archery and the outdoor games. They also commented on the beautiful grounds. We wouldn't change anything about the day and that's largely due to Henrietta and David's help and professionalism. We highly recommend!
