The romantic setting can accommodate a celebration from 2 persons up to 220. With a choice of locations for celebrations throughout as well as 72 beautifully refurbished bedrooms, the Copper Bar and the jewel in the crown - the fully enclosed gardens with the romantic tree of unity and access to the Six Mile River you are spoilt for choice. We pride ourselves on being fun and relaxed putting you right at the centre of the heart of the hotel. This is true as from your first sip of champagne as a married couple we get you to sign the champagne cork which is housed on the wall of the hotel becoming part of the history forever.

The personal touches and attentiveness from Amanda and Malachy, also can't forgetting to mention how professional the rest of the staff were. The food was absolutely outstanding, so many guests have commented on the quality and quantity of everything. I couldn't recommend the Dunadry enough and thank you so so much for making it the day it was. We had a fantastic day. Sarah Jane was incredibly diligent, always making sure to let us know all of the available options, while reminding us that it was our special day and we should go with whatever felt right for us. During the planning stages, no request was too much, and every time we contacted Sarah Jane, either by phone or email, she always made time for us. As vegans, we wanted to find a venue that could host an entirely vegan wedding. We visited several venues around Belfast and mentioned our dietary requirements early on during our visits. Although Dunadry had never hosted an entirely vegan wedding before, there was absolutely no hesitation when we asked if it would be possible. They truly rose to the challenge! We even had a meeting with their head chef, Gregory, who listed so many options for canapés, starters, mains, desserts, and buffets. On the day, the food was outstanding. Every single one of our guests spoke highly of it, and we were completely blown away by the quality, variety, and taste. It far exceeded anything we had imagined. The venue itself is luxurious in an understated way. Everywhere you look, there’s a timeless beauty that’s elegant without being gaudy or showy. We had our ceremony in the River Room, which comfortably seated our 88 guests. The Secret Garden is a stunning space for wedding photos, and it’s private enough that we didn’t feel self-conscious while the photos were being taken. There are some truly lovely backdrops for photos, and with our wedding in the autumn, the colours were absolutely stunning—especially the Tree of Peace and Unity, which would be an incredible focal point for a wedding at any time of the year. Every staff member on the day was so kind and helpful. It’s clear that they are experts at hosting weddings. They were accommodating the whole way through, and the guests were amazed by the excellent location, comfort, and services. They felt welcomed and treated like VIPs. The hotel truly gave us everything we needed—a great venue for people to gather, eat, and rest, and it made the perfect backdrop for our special day. The food and service were absolutely amazing. We stayed at the beautiful and private cottage with the hot tub the night before the wedding and used their spa facilities in the private gym. It had everything we needed and more. Some of our guests even mentioned that they would definitely return to stay. In fact, we have already booked our anniversary there for next year and we’re looking forward to using their amazing secret outdoor spa again. We had the best day, and couldn't believe our luck with the weather. The secret garden was the perfect place for our ceremony and a real surprise for our guests. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
It is difficult to pick one wedding out at The Dunadry as they are all so individual. My favourite Weddings are when the full day is at the Hotel. Generally one or both the couple stay the night before and the energy and anticipation is so lovely. We have our new addition - 'The Cottage' which is perfect for the whole Bridal Party to stay in the night before with a continental breakfast and prosecco delivered to the door on the morning of your Wedding! Hairdressers, make up artists, flowers and all suppliers are here first thing bringing the excitement from the very first moments to the Hotel and allowing us to be part of it. Being able to share all these intimate and special moments with a couple, their family and friends is priceless.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
The cork display is part of the history of the Hotel and every single couple who get married at the hotel sign the cork from their first bottle of champagne which then lives on the walls of our hotel, such a special touch!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are so many inside and outside but my favourite is by the tree of unity when it is lit up at night it gives a magical feeling.

What’s your favourite canapé?
Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese, Pickled Cucumber on Irish Stout Wheaten - delicious!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Honey Glazed Cocktail Sausages
What is your venue's most unique feature?
There are so many quirks in the hotel as a former linen mill, there are little original gems throughout!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The refurbishment by the McKeever family lovingly restoring it to its former glory with some modern touches makes it an overall venue I am proud to represent.
