Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

One of the most memorable weddings at Langshott Manor was a beautifully intimate celebration that showcased everything our manor does best.

The couple chose to exchange vows in our Mulberry Suite, filled with natural light and styled with soft florals that complemented the manor’s timeless charm. Their ceremony felt incredibly personal, with just the right balance of elegance and warmth.

As the evening unfolded, the celebration moved into the manor’s cosy, atmospheric spaces, creating a seamless transition from day to night. Guests danced, laughed, and explored the manor’s nooks and lounges, giving the entire event an almost house-party feel...exclusive, relaxed, and full of character.

What made it the “best” wasn’t extravagance; it was how naturally everything flowed, how well the manor embraced the couple’s vision, and how every guest felt genuinely at home.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

My No.1 wedding planning tip is: focus on what truly matters to you as a couple, and let every decision flow from that. When you stay anchored to your shared priorities—whether that’s good food, an intimate atmosphere, or a lively party—the planning becomes easier, more joyful, and far less overwhelming.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

A personal touch I absolutely loved was a couple who created a “story walk” through the garden, with little signs sharing key moments from their relationship. Guests wandered through before the ceremony, discovering sweet memories along the way—it set such a romantic tone for the whole day.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

If you ask me, the best photo spot at Langshott Manor is the garden terrace and grounds, just outside the manor’s historic red-brick façade — especially around golden hour. The combination of beautifully manicured lawns, the rich brickwork of the manor building, and the soft evening light makes for truly timeless and romantic photos.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We need to be discreet so mum's the word!

What’s your favourite canapé?

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Bacon Rolls with tomato ketchup - quick to eat & satisfying after dancing all evening.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

We have a beautiful old-fashioned bell at the top of our tower, and it’s one of the most unique and heartfelt traditions at Langshott Manor. After every wedding ceremony, we ring the bell to celebrate and congratulate the newlyweds. The sound echoes across the gardens and over the manor’s historic rooftops, marking the moment with a touch of romance and nostalgia. It’s a simple gesture, but couples absolutely love it—it feels like the manor itself is sending its blessing as they begin their new chapter together.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

We’re thrilled to welcome a new Hotel Manager and new Head Chef to Langshott Manor! Our Hotel Manager brings fresh ideas and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every couple enjoys a seamless and stress-free experience. Meanwhile, our new Head Chef is crafting delicious, seasonal menus that delight every palate, adding a fresh and exciting culinary touch to our weddings. Together with our dedicated team, they’re helping us make each wedding even more memorable and unique.
