Welcome to Lakeside Weddings at Maisemore Court. We are a unique, exclusive use marquee wedding venue nestled within a traditional family run farm. It’s picturesque locations are tailored for marquee wedding receptions in Gloucestershire. We have two beautiful lakeside venues which our couples can choose from.
Maisemore Court which is our original marquee wedding venue. It is located in a quiet countryside village which is a stone’s throw away from Gloucester City Centre. On approaching the venue you will be welcomed by a tree lined avenue which leads to the beautiful local St Giles Maisemore church and the historic buildings of the Maisemore Court farm. You then turn around to take in the breathtaking lake with its permanent residents Mr and Mrs Swan and the ducks.
The Hidden Lake is our second marquee wedding venue where your imagination can run wild! This is our newest remote venue which is nestled in the heart of the farm in Maisemore, Gloucestershire. The venue is located amongst old oak trees and rolling hills by a lake which stretches along the tree line. If you are looking for a wild wedding set by a lake with a canopy of trees then this venue is perfect for you!
Our venues are suitable for May - September weddings! We do not offer mid week dates but have weekend wedding packages available.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer legal ceremonies at our venue however couples can get married at the local St Giles Church or alternatively have a celebrant led ceremony (non legal) by the lakeside.

They had so much advice, and really helped us bring the little details together, with things like picnic benches and a firepit. Because a lot of our wedding was quite DIY, having the whole weekend to set up (and pack away!) made a crazy time much less stressful! Thank you so much guys! The grounds are so beautiful and the atmosphere on the day was everything I wanted it to be..mainly due to the lovely setting ! We have such lovely photos to look back on of the children watching the swans, people sat out on the hay bales enjoying drinks and many more lovely memories we will cherish forever! It was great we were able to book the venue out ready a few days before so we had a good amount of time for the marquee etc to be sorted without stressing too much at the last minute! We have always dreamed of getting married at our local church, St Giles, and wanted a relaxed marquee receptions afterwards. Due to the church being a stone throw away from the venue it was a no brainer. The venue is beautiful and the lake was the perfect backdrop for our wedding photographs! The venue was the perfect setup for our guests to park for the church and not have to worry about travel all day! For our wedding we wanted lots of food, good music and a venue to accommodate for a big guest list and Lakeside Weddings managed it all. We literally had the most amazing and unforgettable wedding day. If we could do it again we would! Lakeside Weddings was everything we could have dreamed of and more.
