Kilmore Country House

We got married at Kilmore on 4-5th October weekend and couldn’t have asked for more from this incredible venue and team! We stayed at the property for 2 nights with close family and friends and Oliver and his happy team were absolutely incredible - nothing was too much to ask, we felt really cared for and we just had a really fantastic time. Compared to other venues we visited we were offered a completely tailored package start to finish without a lot of hidden costs. Everyone who came loved the venue - the glen is stunning and we even managed an outdoor wedding in October! The marquee is such a great party vibe for the evening and the food from welcome dinner to breakfast was outstanding. Really wish we could do it all over again!

We got married at Kilmore House in April 2024, it's hard to know where to start with how amazing this venue is. From the moment we viewed it, we fell in love. The views are spectacular, it's such a magic place. Oliver is the wedding coordinator and is super organised and very calming. There was no stress in the build up to the day and everything ran super smoothly. Oliver is just the best - thank you. Also, special shout out to Hugh - so kind and great craic, we loved him and so did all the guests. All the guests commented on how delicious the food was too, top notch quality 👌 Kilmore offers everything you want for a perfect wedding - great location, amazing views and super relaxed ambience. We honestly can't thank all the staff at Kilmore enough, the venue is a hidden gem and we are so glad we found it ❤️

Oliver and the team did an exceptional job for our wedding this weekend. Well planned and super helpful from start to finish, dealing with last minute requests. Couldn't recommend them highly enough and made our day extra special. All the guests said the staff were without fault, with special mention for Hugh! Portion sizes for food were huge. I could not imagine a more perfect venue than Kilmore House. It is the most beautiful venue with amazing views over the Queen of the Glens. It is the one and only venue we viewed and we were sold straight away. Oliver made every part of planning our wedding a breeze- nothing was a problem and he was quick to respond to any questions or queries. All of the staff were fantastic. If you want a unique setting, amazing food and lovely people you don’t need to look anywhere else. I just wish we could do it all over again!

We had our wedding reception at Kilmore Country House in May and it was honestly one of the best venues ever for a wedding. From the moment we booked our wedding right up to the final preparations we were given the best experience. We highly recommend Oliver as he has everything organised to a tee and nothing was ever a problem to them. Our guests all talk about the amazing food, excellent service and beautiful location of Kilmore.

Everything about this venue is exactly what we ever could have wished for! From start to finish everything was so well organised, thought about and taken care of by Oliver and the staff which didn’t leave too much for us to worry about. The planning process was seamless. On the day itself we had such a ball, the food was great, the day ran so smoothly and all our family and friends loved every minute too. As the bride and groom you are constantly getting photos taken and talking to guests and it really made a difference that Oliver made sure we were looked after and had a drink in hand. All of the staff went over and above for us and were all so friendly and accommodating. And finally nothing could beat the scenery over the Glens. Just WOW. The list could go on. We honestly cannot recommend Kilmore Country House enough to any future bride and grooms!

Oliver, Hugh and all the team at Kilmore! Thank you so much for making our Wedding day everything we could ever have wanted including the sunshine!! All the staff went above & beyond and helped us (even when we were still sorting things on the morning)! Oliver, and team, you were AMAZING! We don't know how you managed to make everything so perfect. You supported us throughout covid and the many date changes and then delivered the dream day on 23 July 2022.
