Your big day is all about you, and that’s why Kilmore Country House is exclusively yours for the day of your wedding. All elements of your celebrations, including the ‘getting ready’ portion of proceedings, the ceremony, the reception and even the overnight stay, can take place onsite, so that you and your guests can remain at one venue from the beginning of the day until the end – taking away the stress of wedding travel and making the most of your time together. Engaged couples can opt to have a wedding ceremony indoors in our twinkling ballroom, with its ornate fixings, distinctive mouldings and luxurious drapes, or in one of our unique outdoor ceremony spaces. Choose from our beautiful outdoor amphitheatre stood on the edge of Glenariff and overlooking the valley below or our quaint riverside terrace affording soothing sounds of a gentle babbling brook. From generous wedding banquets to the complimentary breakfast you and your guests will enjoy following your wedding celebrations, and everything in between, every effort is made to ensure a sumptuous dining experience.
Guests can retreat to the cosy corners of the country house’s living quarters and burrow
down in a chesterfield armchair in front of a roaring fire, complete with a celebratory
tipple from the venue’s onsite bar, creating a warm and welcoming environment at every turn, and making wedding memories for you and your guests that are sure to last.

We stayed at the property for 2 nights with close family and friends and Oliver and his happy team were absolutely incredible - nothing was too much to ask, we felt really cared for and we just had a really fantastic time. Compared to other venues we visited we were offered a completely tailored package start to finish without a lot of hidden costs. Everyone who came loved the venue - the glen is stunning and we even managed an outdoor wedding in October! The marquee is such a great party vibe for the evening and the food from welcome dinner to breakfast was outstanding. Really wish we could do it all over again! We got married at Kilmore on 4-5th October weekend and couldn’t have asked for more from this incredible venue and team! From the moment we viewed it, we fell in love. The views are spectacular, it's such a magic place. Oliver is the wedding coordinator and is super organised and very calming. There was no stress in the build up to the day and everything ran super smoothly. Oliver is just the best - thank you. Also, special shout out to Hugh - so kind and great craic, we loved him and so did all the guests. All the guests commented on how delicious the food was too, top notch quality 👌 Kilmore offers everything you want for a perfect wedding - great location, amazing views and super relaxed ambience. It is the most beautiful venue with amazing views over the Queen of the Glens. It is the one and only venue we viewed and we were sold straight away. Oliver made every part of planning our wedding a breeze- nothing was a problem and he was quick to respond to any questions or queries. All of the staff were fantastic. If you want a unique setting, amazing food and lovely people you don’t need to look anywhere else. I just wish we could do it all over again! I could not imagine a more perfect venue than Kilmore House. It is the most beautiful venue with amazing views over the Queen of the Glens. Our guests all talk about the amazing food, excellent service and beautiful location of Kilmore. From start to finish everything was so well organised, thought about and taken care of by Oliver and the staff which didn’t leave too much for us to worry about. The planning process was seamless. On the day itself we had such a ball, the food was great, the day ran so smoothly and all our family and friends loved every minute too. As the bride and groom you are constantly getting photos taken and talking to guests and it really made a difference that Oliver made sure we were looked after and had a drink in hand. All of the staff went over and above for us and were all so friendly and accommodating. And finally nothing could beat the scenery over the Glens. Just WOW. The list could go on. We honestly cannot recommend Kilmore Country House enough to any future bride and grooms! Everything about this venue is exactly what we ever could have wished for!
