Kent Life is a licensed venue for Civil Marriages and is the perfect setting for a romantic wedding with a difference. A picturesque, peaceful environment for an unforgettable day with professional wedding co-ordinating and catering provided by Vincents Catering. There are three area’s in which you can hold your wedding ceremony The Ulcombe Village Hall, the marquee and the Old Wedding Chapel.
New to 2024 we have a beautiful Pavilion to hold your ceremony/ reception. It's situated at the top of the site with perfect views of the North Downs. The Pavilion seats up to 150 guests and then an additional 100 guests for the reception.
You have use of the whole site for your photographs - including the lovers seat, the dovecote and the herb garden and easy access by River Boat for those wishing to get married at the Archbishops Palace and having just their wedding reception at Kent Life. Choice of two hotels within a 2-5 minute walk of the venue.
You also will receive 2 free tickets to Kent Life to relive your a special day for your 1st anniversary, T&C's apply.

Kent Life charge a venue hire fee for exclusive use of the Wagon Store, Marquee, Ulcombe Village Hall and associated wedding area from 9am until midnight (entertainment and bar closes at 11.30pm).
However for a small fee we can allow an extension on this time to 1am (entertainment and bar closes at 12.30am). The venue hire remains the same whether you want your wedding ceremony (in Ulcombe Village Hall) and reception on site or just your wedding reception.

Lindsay was our wedding coordinator and she was amazing. Every question or worry we had was dealt with and we honestly couldn't have asked for more. She was always on hand when we needed her and guided the day perfectly. The venue was ideal and unique, we got married in the pink chapel and had the food and party in the Wagon Store and Village Hall. Food was good and all dietary requirements were catered for and there were lots of them. Overall the whole day was perfect and all the guests commented how great Kent Life was so thank you all.My Wife and I had our wedding here on the 1st August this year. The day was perfect. Thank you. The day was truly fantastic, we still keep telling people just how wonderful the day was and keep hearing back from our guests, what a terrific day they had at your great venue. We think Tracy completed miracles getting all the people in the right places at the right time. You liaised superbly with both bands, the videographer, the photographer, the singing waiter, caterers and us decorating the venues, with no issues arising and professional expertise. Well done and thank you again. The food was spot on. The quality and quantity were excellent. Lots of our guests mentioned the food and how they had enjoyed the aperitives, the Breakfast and the BBQ. We picked your venue as it was a bit quirky, which matches us somewhat, and we wasn't disappointed in any way. Our guests were wowed by the day and so were we! Our wedding co-ordinator was always available via email or phone and was helpful no matter how many silly questions I asked. They were very flexible with all our requests. On the day of the wedding, we felt totally at ease, as all the staff were relaxed and welcoming. Our guests really enjoyed the tractor ride up the hill to the village hall. One guest was fasting for Ramadan, and the staff made sure to save him a plate of canapes to eat once the sun went down - small touches like that go a long way. Overall, we'd really recommend Kent Life for a wedding if you want a great guest experience, and a relaxed romantic vibe. We had a twilight wedding at Kent Life, which was the perfect choice for us. We felt the planning in the build up towards the wedding and the day itself was perfect for us. Lindsay was always contactable and happy to be flexible to what we wanted. The venue itself is so pretty and unique - we had loads of compliments from guests. The animals were a big hit! On the day the whole team were so friendly. The catering and bar staff kept us and our guests happy through the day - even helping to get some of the oldies back down the hill in the evening. Lindsay was amazingly organised, and took all of the stress out of the day. They all really went above and beyond and we really appreciate it! All the weddings held at our venue are as unique and individual as the wedding couples themselves. I could not possibly offend anyone by picking a 'best' wedding! There all fabulous in their own way!

This is your wedding! Do what YOU love. Invite the people you want. Dance to the songs that bring you most joy. Eat the best food. Enjoy all moments. Share the photographs with your children and grandchildren. Most of all spend the rest of your days with the person you love!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Every single wedding has personal touches that are individual to them and their relationship and I love to see the individuality of each wedding that happens here at Kent Life. To ensure I don't forget these personal touches I always take lots and lots of photographs which I like to twitter about!

We have loads and loads and loads...28 acres worth of fantastic photo opportunities!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes, we have had a few here at Kent Life but we are sworn to secrecy!!! Sssssshhhhhhhhhh!!!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Definitely the arancini balls.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Cheese and biscuits! Lots and lots of Cheese and biscuits!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The original buildings which have been dismantled and painstakingly rebuild here at Kent Life. This includes the chapel brought over from Cuxton Village, The Village Hall brought over from Ulcombe Village and The Cottages brought over from Lenham Village.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We are immensely proud of the team that work for us and who ensure that every single wedding is perfect from start to finish!
