Our business is a hotel that specializes in hosting unforgettable weddings. Our wedding planner and her team work with you to deliver your perfect day, using our professional events catering team and an impressive network of suppliers and vendors in the industry. Our Woodland Ceremony area is placed amidst the British countryside, providing a unique space for memorable moments and photographs. The space boasts breathtaking views, natural aesthetics, state-of-the-art amenities, and the historic Folly, enveloping our custom pergola to create a magical atmosphere. We also offer Yew Tree Cottage Indoor Ceremony Area for smaller, more intimate weddings.
The Cromwell Suite is our newly created function-room built from the ground up for weddings and special occasions. This gorgeous ballroom featuring elegant chandeliers, high ceilings and large windows, allows natural light to flow in from your private patio and garden making this a perfect space to use on your special day for you & your guests.
The venue has been designed for maximum flexibility, meaning it can be transformed from ceremony to reception to disco at a moment's notice! Additionally, we are also able to offer a blank canvas opportunity for our bride and grooms who wish to design and create their perfect styling.

Carlie their wedding co-ordinator was brilliant at organising and ensuring everything went as we had wished. The hotel owner, Jason and his whole team were super kind, and hard working. All the guests commented on how delicious and plentiful the food was. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough.Not only was the venue beautiful, but the team at Judd's ensured everything was more than perfect. Carlie and the team there were nothing short of amazing! Nothing was to much trouble in the lead up and on the day. Carlie guided us through the planning keeping us on the right side of realistic and giving us all the confidence we needed she was also great in dealing with our 2 very excited little ones. She made sure the day went without a hitch. The outside setting was great for the ceremony. And the bar/dining room/ patio added different dimensions to the space without feeling too separated. The food was delicious for both the sit down meal and the hot and cold buffet for the reception. Everyone who came has given us great feedback. I would highly recommend. What an amazing day! Everything was executed perfectly the way we planned it in our heads and seeing it all put together was amazing! Nothing was an issue and everyone was so friendly, we had the best time and all our friends and family have said how beautiful the venue was and how much of a good time they had! We also had the bridal suite in the yew tree cottage and that was so beautiful! Food was also incredible and had looks of compliments from our family and friends. Thank you again! From start to finish we had the absolute best experience. Carlie - Events Manager - Wedding Planner was spectacular, she had everything under control one the day and the two year lead up! Her ability to adapt to your needs are impeccable. If we have any other big event we will be back! We are so greatful to Carlie, Jason and the team for making our special day the best day in our life’s. Our only regret is that we didn’t get a photo together with Carlie and Jason BUT they feature in our wedding video so they will never be forgotten! Highly recommend the Judds folly for your wedding venue if you want laidback vibes with perfection standards, food, and service! We are proud of every wedding we deliver. However, a particularly interesting vision was a winter wonderland-themed event. The couple incorporated frosty details and cozy elements into every aspect of their big day. The Cromwell Suite transformed into a sparkling winter forest, and our Woodland Pergola looked magical under a dusting of snow. The love, joy, and festive spirit made it unforgettable.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We've had countless special moments and touches over the years. Balloon releases, interesting personal favours and more. One of our favourites was a pair of secondary school sweethearts showcased their journey by creating a photo timeline from when they first met to the wedding day. It was a heartfelt trip down memory lane for all the guests.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The historic Judd's Folly arch set in the Woodland Ceremony Area. Always a favourite photo op for the newly weds and all the guests!

We prefer not to disclose our celebrity guest's identies. Although, we are very proud of a rich history of events and attendees.

Our venue has a lot of special features including our location, specialist events kitchen, range of luxury rooms and more. We believe what most people enjoy the most is the friendly and approachable team they'll find whenever they visit the hotel.

Our wedding planner and her staff have consistently fantastic reviews and feedback from our married couples. This is due to a genuine interest in the bride and groom, and the support they provide whilst helping to plan the big day from beginning to end.
