- TThe New Mr & Mrs27/11/2025Above, beyond and coordinated!Above, beyond and coordinated!By far above our expectations, this is not your stereo typical function room, it's a venue that will blow away your guests. The staff we're extremely friendly and always went out of their way to help, the event coordinators made our dreams a reality and worked with the kitchen to put together the best charcuterie I have seen in my life. Other than putting rings on fingers, this venue was the highlight of our special day Thank you!By far above our expectations, this is not your stereo typical function room, it's a venue that will blow away your guests. Steph and Olivia have extremely high standards when providing services from the singer, DJ, flower arrangements/room decor, food etc - everything was perfect. The room and night was set up in such a way that everyone mingled. The food was great and drinks aplenty! Our guests commented on what a great night it was which was an added bonus. Stunning flower creations with Lillies which smelled heavenly when we entered the room. Stunning tall vase black ostrich feather displays. An amazing DJ & the Jazz band was a perfect touch, modern music with a jazz era mix to it. The suggestion of shots with sparklers being handed round by the staff half way through the night was a magicalFrom beginning to end of my party planning everyone was great. Our friends and family (as well as us) absolutely loved the venue and night. They hold their venue to high standards so their recommendations for the culinary, singer, DJ and cake were all amazing. The event was very well organised, all the staff were wecloming, friendly and attentive, the venue was extremely well presented, the theme and the entertainment was novel and fun. Jordan at the bar made sure we always had plenty of drinks and the entertainers did a great job of getting everyone up dancing. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
One of my personal favourite weddings was Rad and Amy! They were my first ever couple and because of this they will always hold a special place in my heart. On top of this they actually had their first date in our sister venue, and have recently welcomed their first child, so It's a lovely full circle story!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't plan your wedding for other people, plan it for you!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We had a really modern bride and groom who were covered in tattoos, so we had personalised temporary tattoos made with their faces on them, it was such a cool little touch, I think even the staff went home with them on!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Ivory Tower is surrounded by unique and endless photo opportunities. This City Centre location provides an urban backdrop to capture those perfect moments. From the beautifully restored Winckley Square gardens to the infamous Grade II listed Avenham Park, situated in a conservation area and engulfed in history your wedding photographer really will be spoilt for choice.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Given the venue's rich history, it has been visited by many amazing celebrities over time. We even had the pleasure of celebrating Steve Pemberton's wedding here.
What’s your favourite canapé?
The Tempura Prawns are my all time favourite
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Our creative culinary menu offers a good choice of favourites for the evening reception, however I would say the butter pie is just the right option for a late evening treat.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Defiantly the brick work, the building still has the original brick work and its over 200 years old and I think when the light is shining on it it just gives the most amazing photos

Our amazing team who help to make the day so special!
