Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but we’ll just let you enjoy the process as your dedicated wedding coordinator advises and supports you to ensure your day is everything you want and more.
Our 'All Wrapped Up' wedding package has been designed to cover the whole day.
MULTICULTURAL WEDDINGS
We also love celebrating every different culture here at The Imperial Hotel. No wedding we host is the same, and so we’re ideally suited for Asian, Jewish and multi-faith weddings where you may require your own catering facilities.
We understand that you want to consider specialist caterers, whom we can offer full kitchen use. Our largest function room is able to accommodate up to 350 guests, so you needn't leave anyone off the guest list and you can rest assured that there's plenty of room for dancing and entertainment.

The Louis suite was decorated in our colour theme and the ceremony was beautiful. Whilst the room was turned around we had full access to the Derby room. This room helped us mingle with our guests and make our speeches. The twilight part of our wedding was back in the Louis room. The buffet was hot and plentiful, the dj Andy (part of the package), kept the dance floor full. The whole experience was a fabulous experience and was all down to the organisational skills of the events team. I highly recommend the Imperial Hotel, Blackpool. Big enough to host 100 guests, small enough that it feels cosy. All the staff were incredible, but special mention goes to Rob the banqueting manager who coordinated the wedding breakfast brilliantly. All the guests agreed the food was delicious and the everyone enjoyed their stay. The Washington Suite is a fabulous rooms for a wedding reception. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
They're all special. However, some do tend to stick in our minds. Many of our staff would say their own weddings, as lots of us have got married here! We are licensed for midnight weddings, so having a gothic steampunk ceremony at the stroke of midnight was really atmospheric and memorable.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Ensure you've booked your registrar first! :)
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We have lots! Exploding balloons on the dancefloor that go off at a specific time during the first dance, a pair of doves being released on the terrace, we've had an owl as a ringbearer, and a firefighter groom came to his wedding in a fixed-up vintage engine!

Romantic, historic, well-managed, beautiful and welcoming.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Whilst the whole hotel is iconically gorgeous, you can't beat a shot on the beach at sunset. The good news is that it's directly on our doorstep!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Well, Blackpool is a showbiz town for sure - so yes, we have! Our Derby Lounge is dedicated to the stars of the silver screen (and Royals!) who have stayed with us over the years.
What’s your favourite canapé?
We love working with our couples to come up with great ideas. We do have a delicious canapé menu, but we can also serve traditional Blackpool fayre (mini fish and chips, anyone?) or even an afternoon tea canapé service.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
We can't beat a bacon butty after an event well executed!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our Washington Suite is the ballroom that was added to the hotel in 1901. It was originally built with glass ceilings so that couples could "waltz under the stars" . . .
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our team. We work with professional, friendly staff who are all totally devoted to the running of calm, successful, beautiful weddings.
