Designed for weddings, retreats, private events and parties, Hyde House offers exclusive use of the main house with 12 bedrooms, plus an additional eight in the Coach House. With a bar, lounge, and library, Hyde House feels like your own private country retreat - perfect for celebrating your wedding.
Ceremonies at Hyde House can be held in The Grange, where we host civil ceremonies and blessings for up to 150 guests. Light-filled and spacious, it features bay windows, rustic oak beams, and farmhouse-style doors that open wide to let the outside in. Alternatively, The Arbour offers civil ceremonies and blessings under our oak arbour in the garden, looking out over acres of green fields.
Following the ceremony, guests are welcomed into Hyde Barn for the wedding breakfast. Our largest space, a bright hall filled with natural light, it connects directly to the main bar. Designed for celebrations, its open layout flows easily from bar to dining, with soft white walls and festoon lighting providing a bright, versatile backdrop for your wedding vision.
We’re a passionate team of event organisers, here to ensure your wedding is everything you imagined. With warm service, a can-do attitude, and a focus on unforgettable stays, we take care of every detail.
Great-tasting food and drink sit at the heart of everything we do. We champion seasonal produce and source locally wherever possible.

As soon as we walked in we knew it was the one for us. Everything was absolutely perfect! The Grange was the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, everyone commented on how special it was. Hyde Barn was also the most amazing space for our wedding breakfast, bar and evening reception. The getting ready space was the highlight and held the perfect space for us to all get ready. Every single member of staff were incredible. To mention Milly & Sophie who answered many of my annoying questions and helped us plan our day, and all of the lovely waiting and bar staff on the day. Our compliments to the chefs who provided an exceptional mezze plater, followed by the tastiest pan fried cod and finally a sticky toffee pudding which no dessert connoisseur could possibly resist. To present it all so beautifully whilst also ensuring it reached us hot is testament to impeccable timing and fabulous team work. The serving and bar staff were amazingly attentive throughout and we commend the housekeeping team on the spotlessly clean venue. The weather was kind so we were also privileged to be able to make use of the beautifully maintained gardens and take in the stunning views. Our host who met us on arrival was moist welcoming she sorted us all out and then returned to ensure that all was well at breakfast – it most certainly was!
