Formal or informal, funky or traditional, we'll ensure the food and drink complement your wedding in Tunbridge Wells perfectly. What would you like? A five-course wedding breakfast, a casual and informal buffet, a completely bespoke dining menu and wine list specifically created for the occasion by our resident Chef and Sommelier?
The choice is yours, but whatever you decide, come the big day, we'll work diligently behind the scenes to make sure everything runs like clockwork.
There are three private rooms for you to choose from; Ruinart, Havana and Mouton Rothschild.
Ruinart is a beautiful, classically designed room that has drawn its decorative influences from the famous mirrored room in the palace of Versailles. With its many sash windows the room is flooded with natural daylight and has stunning views of the hotel's garden and Calverley Park.
Havana is perfect for smaller, intimate wedding celebrations, decorated in a 1950's Cuban style. The French doors open onto the terrace where the gentleman of the party can have an exquisite cigar in our cigar shack. Our most intimate room is situated next to our Bistro with views onto the garden and French doors allowing the room to flood with an abundance of natural daylight and open out onto the terrace.
Mouton Rothschild is our smallest and most intimate room, with seating for up to 14 people. Like Havana, this cosiest of spaces basks in plenty of natural daylight from French doors that open out onto your own exclusive veranda and the lawns beyond.

We were very impressed by the professional and attentive service which you and your staff provided. The food and drink were delicious, the room was laid out beautifully and the staff looking after us were impeccably efficient. We had a wonderful evening! We would also like to mention Lauren and Tiffany, who were also very helpful and supportive throughout the day. We would like to commend Lauren in sorting out a problem we encountered the next morning at breakfast.Thank you Sophia for the wonderful celebration you organised in the elegant Lombard Room for our daughter's wedding on the 17th June. Sophia made sure that every little detail was taken care of throughout the build-up, which meant that we could relax on our special day. We stayed in the bridal suite which was incredible, there was plenty of space and beautiful views. The food during the wedding was amazing and the portions were large - we had lots of compliments from guests. The grounds are really beautiful which made for lovely photos. Throughout the day, all the staff were incredibly helpful and made every effort to ensure guests' comfort. One staff member overhead a guest mention that she was worried about having a bad reaction to the cream in mashed potato - the staff member (apologies, didn't get a name) quickly arranged an alternative main and dessert at short notice. Lauren also was extremely attentive to us and our guests during the day. Our wedding party included children, teenagers, a baby and adults some with dietary requirements but all needs and tastes were met and the food was excellent. The staff and the service on the day were all great. Someone even managed to find a lost hearing aid in the lawn! The venue itself is beautiful - a great back drop for photos and the room where we had the ceremony and wedding breakfast looked lovely just decked out with some simple flowers. We were lucky to have the sun to enjoy the garden too. Everyone commented on how stunning the venue was and the team were superb. A special mention to Gideon, Serhii, Frankie, Louis, Eryn and Sophia. We had the best weekend imaginable. Our party of 19 found the Havana Room to be the perfect size—intimate, yet spacious enough to feel grand, especially with the stunning decorations by Chic Weddings. We and our guests all stayed at the hotel, and every room was lovely—well-decorated, clean, and spacious. The staff went above and beyond to assist our brother-in-law and sister, helping them move to a quieter room for their newborn, which we greatly appreciated. The morning after, we all enjoyed a delicious breakfast together. The food throughout our stay was fantastic, and the wedding dinner was phenomenal—especially the Beef Bourguignon! Lauren was an absolute star on the day of the wedding and the morning after—it felt like she was there every step of the way, ensuring everything went smoothly. She was incredibly kind and accommodating to all our guests. Sophia was also by our side on the big day, making sure everything ran according to plan with such care and warmth. In the lead-up to the wedding, Tiffany was so helpful and always quick to answer any questions we had. The front desk team—Hollie, Sam, and Pippa—were wonderful, handling all our inquiries with patience and ensuring everything went off without a hitch. On the day Sophia and the rest of the staff worked well with our suppliers to ensure the day ran smoothly. We had a perfect day, the food was outstanding and we had so many compliments about the food. The gardens are beautifully kept and the whole hotel is very clean and has a lovely atmosphere. The large windows, beautiful staircase and mirrored room made the hotel feel very grand even though it is a fairly small hotel. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. I would really recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay somewhere with a lovely atmosphere and amazing food and I would recommend Sophia to help you plan any event you may wish to hold at the hotel.
