Horwood House

Oh there are not enough words. If you are considering Horwood.. DO IT!! Venue is absolutely stunning, food is 11/10. Did not get to try the evening buffet myself but everyone else told me it was great, but the wedding breakfast was just.. perfection. As for all those involved in the big day.. WOW. What a credit to Horwood House the events team are!!!! I wish I could praise you all more!!!! Thank you endlessly for making our big day so perfect.

We just wanted to say how amazing everything was on Saturday and to say thank you so much for all your hard work to ensure it all went smoothly. We thought the service that you and the staff provided at Horwood House was absolutely brilliant, right down to the little touches such as notes in our room. We had a really wonderful day!

We had the most incredible experience with Horwood House as our wedding venue. From initial visit all the way through the planning process they were so friendly and happy to help; big thanks to Maisie who was so helpful when we called with any questions. The day itself went seamlessly, and we felt so well looked-after by Norma and the team who I can't give enough praise to, including making sure we got our own plate of canapes so we didn't miss out. The Manor suite we got ready and stayed in was gorgeous. The grounds were stunning with bluebells everywhere and cherry blossoms. We had our ceremony off-site at a church but our drinks reception was in the Manor and our wedding breakfast and evening reception in the Cook Suite and both rooms were perfect. The food during the wedding breakfast was absolutely divine, and the evening buffet was huge hit too. Everything was better than we could have imagined and we really can't recommend Horwood house enough.

We would like to thank you for all you did for us leading up to our wedding and especially on Saturday. The day ran like clockwork and the attention to detail was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. Please pass on my thanks to Torrie for her help in preparations in advance of the wedding.

Myself and my husband would like to thank everybody that made our wedding day so special on the 21.4.23. A special thanks to Jo , Vicky and Caroline , who went above and beyond to make everything perfect . Staff always got back to us the same day with any queries , last minute changes were no hassle for anyone to sort and everyone was so polite and helpful. We really could not recommend this venue enough and would most definitely use for any event in the future .

I have had the pleasure to shoot at this venue 3-4 times by now. Everyone the staff was so helpful and kind and they went the extra mile to accommodate the needs of the couples. For me as a wedding photographer the most important part is to be allowed to take all the photos I need and to have access to all the areas of the venue. This is exactly what happened at Horwood House without any restriction whatsoever. I would highly recommend this venue!

I have never in my life experienced such organisation and dedication from a venue. The wedding and operations teams are a credit to Horwood and my wedding wouldn't have gone smoothly without them.

Our wedding planning with Horwood had a few hiccups, mainly down to a new inexperience Events Planner. The day itself was excellent. The venue had a recent refurb and looked amazing. The food was excellent. I would like to give a special thanks to our wedding co-ordinator Coroline and her team. They were brilliant! Anything we needed, they we there and were accommodating. We had the best day and will now have happy memories to keep.

The venue is truly beautiful, Willing to accommodate your requests. Was quoted one price and 6 days later at the viewing was told the package ended the day before. Then quoted me the same price as the package deal but without all the added extras from the package which I think is a con. Wasn't prepared to honour the package I was quoted nor do anything to even help with the price difference. Quite disappointing as would loved to have had this as my venue but not prepared to pay the same as I was quoted but minus DJ, flowers, Cake etc. Which would therefore cost me a lot more.
