With its fairy tale gabled roofs, landscaped gardens and charming 12th Century church, Dorney Court is one of the UK’s most beautiful and complete country house wedding venues. Your entire wedding day can unfold on the estate, from the ceremony to late night partying in the perfectly renovated Coach House Barn.
The gardens surrounding Dorney Court provide a lovely setting for drinks and photographs whether on lush green lawns or among the many flowerbeds and borders, while our picturesque courtyard, which adjoins the Coach House Barn, is a suntrap where guests can enjoy an almost Mediterranean feel as they celebrate.
Whether you are looking to hold an intimate ceremony in The Great Hall, a traditional ceremony in St. James the Less Church (located on the estate), a wedding breakfast in The Coach House Barn or a large party in a marquee on the lawns, every wedding at Dorney Court is created especially for each client’s individual requirements to guarantee a unique, perfect day.
A lovingly renovated self-catering cottage next to the Coach House Barn offers the bride, groom or guests luxurious romantic accommodation for their wedding day. Gale Cottage is tucked away in the heart of Dorney Court Estate and just footsteps from the Church and the wedding reception.

From the moment we arrived to view it as a potential venue option (after viewing several others), we knew straight away this was the one! The grounds were beautiful and it gave us the elegant touch that we wanted. Rachel showed us around and then conducted all our following meetings and multiple communications and she was AMAZING! She even helped me when I was stressing about silly details like where my bridesmaids were going to stand! We opted to get married outside and were grateful the weather allowed this which gave us the feel of being in multiple locations across the venue which was a huge bonus for us. The food and drinks served were incredible and the staff were so so friendly and helpful, we couldn’t have asked for anymore. In the evening, we had Annabel as our coordinator and she was just as fabulous, making sure everything was running smoothly and keeping things in check behind the scenes, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. The flexibility of the venue was brilliant; we were allowed to have our own evening food catering van to suit the style we wanted and multiple suppliers throughout the day including a tattoo artist and photobooth camper van. The detail that goes into your day is honestly everything we could have wished for and they truly brought every detail of our day to life. Thank you so much to the whole team at Dorney for making our special day so amazing, there are not enough words to write that can show our gratitude to you all! They were both amazing, but as soon as we visited Dorney & met Rachel and Lucie, we knew it was right for us. We mean it when we say everything was perfect. The organisational side led by Rachel was bulletproof and meant we could navigate each detail of the day with confidence. Lucie, who ran the day, made everything flow amazingly behind the scenes. Her well-timed check-ins were massively appreciated. Everything from the three-course meal to the bespoke cocktails, to the service was impeccable. Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have many! The iconic front of The Main House. The grounds are kept immaculate throughout the year. The North Lawn which is where the drinks reception usually takes place. The lane, The Courtyard of The Coach House, The Coach House itself. At the back is also an equestrian center so if you have time on the big day you can have some pictures with the horses.
